“The moment I walked into the restaurant, the pleasant aroma of real Japanese food took me back to my days living in Japan. The restaurant is excellent; the sushi is fresh and plentiful; and the salads were perfect. The service was impeccable. The restaurant is clean. It was a great find; we were there for a weekend basketball tournament at Impact Athletic Center just two miles away. “Food is great and service is great. The only issue I have is your gift card policy between Albany and Saratoga. I’ve had family be told you can use a gift card at either location and I have been told it must be used where it was purchased? My parents bought a gift card at the Albany location for my wife and I. The back of the card had Saratoga on it. Thankfully, we presented the gift card receipt after being told we could only use it in Saratoga when the receipt showed it was purchased in Albany. Thankfully, the server and the manager didn’t give up on the situation and were able to manually enter the card number in despite the magnetic strip on the card not working. Bravo to them! However, the only gift cards you are able to purchase in Albany say Saratoga on the back. So if you have a gift card, you better bring a gift card receipt or you may not be able to use it. I hope you guys look at the policy. My only negative. Other than that sushi is fresh and quick and great service !“

“I ordered the shumai, miso soup, and a mixed variety of sushi for takeout. It travelled well, and my only regret is that I wish I ordered a few more pieces of sushi. Not that I was left hungry... Surprisingly well-presented for takeout food.“
