“Yes!, but I have been there a few times all have been great but this last time. The food was salty. I mean every dish. We spoke to manager who was extremely nice. Apologize and did the right thing. But I will go back for sure“

“Stopped in to kill time while my phone was being repaired. I had the steak sandwich that was unbelievably delicious, couple bloody Mary’s which were incredible.
The staff greeted you with smiles and were very friendly.
And from 10am-5pm is happy hour so certain drinks are two for one which you cannot beat.
I can’t wait to try the entire menu :-)“

“We went celebrate my daughter's birthday. Food was good and service was good. Except the server bring you more sodas and charged Xtra on my bill. Many restaurants don't do that..specially if server take your empty glasses and fill you up... next time I won't drink Xtra soda stay with one drink....“

“Had the pleasure of choosing Tara Inn for lunch today, every establishment can learn a lesson from the customer service that my friend and I experienced. Upon walking in we were greeted by Peter, Tara’s husband and son-in-law of the founder who named the bar for his daughter 47 years ago. We told him it was our first visit and he offered us seats and welcomed us. The regulars at the bar guided us through the menu and we each had a burger with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles for $1 per burger expecting very small burgers we were surprised to find them standard sized and deliciously prepared to medium. My friend had the fried shrimp and I had a $13 steamed lobster! Excellent! They offer daily specials and one of the gentleman at the bar told me their steaks are very good. Every staff person went out of their way to make us feel at home. A charismatic women came out from the back and introduced herself as Tara she thanked us for choosing to lunch there. Why can’t other places realize the importance of making a first time patron feel welcome. I
Had a great afternoon enjoying the excellent variety of beers that they provide on tap. The charming decor has probably changed little since the ‘70s and that adds to the vibe. If you want to go to the friendliest bar on Long Island, head over to Tara Inn.“
“My fiance and I went there for the first time and walked in saying we'll just have one drink and many drinks later we were still there, bartenders were great, the whole crowd was super friendly and the owner was so nice and talkative. Will def be back there.“

“Been here a couple of times. Once on a date night Thursday with my wife, another time for birthday party on a Saturday night with DJ C Natryl. He created a sick vibe. Can't wait to come back to hear him play again!! Nice little room that really is a gem. :)“

“Patrons, bar tenders and owner very friendly and welcoming. I went in by myself, started hitting some pool balls, a patron came up to me and asked if I wanted to play a game. After we played a few games he introduced to some of other guys and gals there. Really nice time for me. When in the area I go back, very relaxing.

“I go there when Priscilla is there because the 1st time I went there she was amazing and made me feel like one of their own right away. I gave 5 stars for food because they let you order in and theres free food most of the time on fridays when I go. When i stay late theres always a good band or DJ. Definitely worth checking out!!“

“What can i say is this is a friendly local pub with great people inside . Steve is a wonderful gentleman who is loved by his patrons simply because he cares about you ❤️.Kim behind the bar is a warm and charming lady who again makes you feel at home.I recommend this place based on the people who patronize the place and people who work there.Karoke is the bomb every Thursday night you wont be disappointed !!!!!!“

“My first time here. For my cousins 40th!! The staff was amazing. The manager Carlos was on top of everything. The server (not sure her name) was amazing !! Rich the owner was hands on helping out. Great atmosphere. I’ve worked in the Industry my whole life.i Will def be back. Food was great too!!! Lots of TVs for sports. Great Job Rich and staff!!“

“Let me say this, any review of ones favorite hangout is biased, so here I go, if u look for fancy or food this isn't it, I suggest u stick with what u familiar with, I love this place, a quintessential dive bar, been going there for years, gritty, rough and LI CHARMING, great people, bartenders as well as locals, (sometimes crazy, nutty, friendly, funny, humble, normal or a little misery) it's all here, 20 years and never felt hostile, go check it out everyone is welcome, CHEERS“

“We had many parties at Katie’s . Staff was exceptional and took care of everything for me . Brian made sure I had everything I asked for right down to specific music I wanted played and always helped make things perfect. Very reasonably priced and very hard working staff. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!“
