Went to the St. Catherine's Emergency Room the other evening for what turned out to be a hernia. My family has lived in the area for over 40 years and have been to the St. Catherine's Emergency Room and Hospital many times over the years. We were in the Emergency Room yesterday, I can't thank the staff enough for the professionalism, caring, and general goodness. Naturally, there was a wait, perfectly appropriate for our situation. Visitors were asked to leave and the ER closed to us for the afternoon, also totally appropriate given the circumstances. Mom came by ambulance and was handled immediately by staff. Emergency room was crowded...but it is being renovated. Staff was attentive no complaints anywhere in CCU. Excellent CCU. Clean. Food delivered to patient within minutes of ordering.
