“Every time I come to this restaurant everyone is so nice!!! The food is absolutely delicious and I have yet to have a bad meal. They had closed down the burrito mariachi by my house and came here because my boyfriend lives nearby. This is by far one of my favorite Mexican restaurants around! The loaded nachos and tacos are the best! Today I got a taco salad and it was delicious!!“

“Very nice inviting decor. Service was just ok. The server was basic, didn’t tell us it was happy hour? Nor did she mention and food selections. For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? “We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“

“Have ordered many times from Ole’s. The food is delicious and service friendly and warm. Today, decided to eat in so we could try the nachos crispy and warm in the store. They were amazing!!! The other items were also great, my kids loved all of it. At the end, we had a chance to meet one of the owners, Manny. He was very friendly and warm, chatted with my boys and then surprised them with a warm churro. Needless to say, we’ll be coming back even more frequently now. Yum yum yum.“

“Went on a Tuesday night and I loved the surf and turf tacos. So much flavor and it was made with steak and shrimp.

Listen the service was so fast. The drinks were great, nice vibe and the music was very mixed and nice from hiphop, reggae and Latin music.

“We cannot possibly rave enough about Fat Boy’s Burrito. We waited for them to open and since they finally came to our area in 2022 they do not disappoint. Previously, most of our experience was with dining in at the restaurant and picking up take out orders. The food is always a home run. You cannot go wrong no matter what you choose. The staff are friendly and appear to enjoy their work. We recently hosted a party and ordered catering- there was an abundance of food that was delivered hot, set up for us, and the quality matched the presentation. Our guests left full (and with to go containers). Placing the order was seamless and any question we had was answered immediately and with care. We will definitely be placing future catering orders.“

“I found this after my midnight workout driving down DPA coming home from the gym. Little pricey(but what isnt) but all in all, the food was down right delicious. Then a week later, I got a craving for it again. Mix and match what you want in the wraps or bowl, LIttle of this , little of that, put that sauce here on the side. The hot salsa has a kick.“

“I go to this restaurant twice a month with my friend usually around 11 AM and get breakfast. Imagine how shocked I was Find out breakfast was no longer available during the week? The restaurant has changed names and menus, but to take breakfast completely off the table during the week I find it outrageous we’ve been going here for years now we have to find a new place. Even if they offered a couple of choices fruit, eggs or brunch special it would have been nice.My friend and I are so disappointed.☹️

I specifically said you don’t offer breakfast during the week that’s Monday through Friday, no breakfast, that’s five days out of seven you don’t offer breakfast. Having 1 thing does not considered you having a breakfast menu. It ok though it’s Deer Park theres millions of places that have food especially breakfast we will just move on. I gave you two stars because we have to move on because of you.

Parking: I park in handicapped and it’s right in front of the front door. It’s very convenient“

The tamale was perfectly moist and savory, and the taco Pescadero was fresh and perfectly seasoned. We also devoured the steak quesadilla, which was cheesy and full of tender steak. Don't even get me started on the empanadas—both the chili empanada and the chicken and cheese empanada were phenomenal. We can't wait to go back and try more!“

“Booked our wedding reception here at the guac shop. We wanted something small, low-key and hassle free for our big day and our brother stumbled upon their party room! We received an informative tour and we’re able to book our date and time easily! The staff was knowledgeable, friendly, and so helpful!! The day of, they made it really easy for our florist and wedding planner to set up and the space complimented the celebration in an unexpectedly beautiful way (especially their preexisting floral wall piece)!! The food was hot and ready for us and the party attendant was so friendly, helpful, attentive and just so much fun to have celebrate along with us and serve our dear guests!! We are still getting compliments on the food and our guests have said they want to return just to eat casually! “I had stopped coming here for a long time as The kids working here had a very bad habit of shaking all the food off the spoon sort of like chipotle does now. I recently gave it another try, and I have to say the food was prepared Generously, the place was very clean, and the service, unlike before was now friendly. The place is under new management, her name is Vilma and she has turned this place around. Better food, better portions and great service for much less money than lousy Taco Bell.“

When I first walked in, I was passed by several people with no acknowledgment, I finally asked someone if I sat myself, and she guided me to a table. After that everything was fine. “Island Grill is a 10/10 spot!! There are a few seats at a wall counter but other than that you come here to pick up your food and eat elsewhere. The prices are fantastic and the portions are great as well! The quesadillas are small sized and priced accordingly, you can get one for $3! This is a great place to come for a cheap lunch or to order large portions for a big group dinner. I do both often. You absolutely have to try their bourbon chicken, you will not be disappointed!
