“Cast Iron Pot Island is a game-changer for Korean BBQ on Staten Island! Finally, a solid AYCE spot right here—went with a group and we were stuffed and happy. The highlight is definitely the meats: tender marinated bulgogi, juicy pork belly, flavorful brisket, and marinated chicken all grilled perfectly (love that the staff comes to cook it at the table so you don't have to fuss with the grill).“

“I'm from out of town so I was really excited to try some of the local food spots in this area and this place did not disappoint. There was a bit of a language barrier but the staff was very helpful and offered me a menu in English. I ordered the salmon and I also had the spare ribs to go. Listen..... the food was amazing the drinks are very good. The bartender very beautiful and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for good food. Good music . Overall a great experience. 5 star for sure“

“This is a Northern Chinese style BBQ. I came here with my family for lunch.
The server recommended a lunch combo menu. This comes with 5 decent sized skewers, rice or french fries and a choice of a drink. We all got a variety of skewers and shared them. We also selected BBQ oysters which were delicious 🤤!

There is a bathroom on the premises.
No free parking. Street parking only. Paid during the week.

I will definitely come back to this restaurant and try their BBQ Fish which was displayed on the menu.“

“I absolutely love this place. I have a very bad case of long covid since October 2021 where almost everything smells and tastes rotten or sickly sweet. I am able to eat the hot pot miso ramen soup with a lot of different vegetables, and I can have the chocolate cake/cupcakes. So delicious! I can also eat the white rice and the grilled pineapples. Before finding out that I can have all of this, I was losing a massive amount of weight, thank God for the few things that I can have here, I’m able to maintain my weight now. I just tend to go a bit crazy with what I can eat because I’m so hungry from not really eating the other days. The workers are amazing. The manager, Justin is really nice and very funny. The owner Darin is also very nice. Love the atmosphere and the music, I still can’t eat the other things and the smells from the other foods still bother me but I deal with it just so I can eat what I’m actually enjoying there. Thanks kpot for being the first restaurant where I’m actually eating some things that I can enjoy. Highly recommend this place, especially this location. Twenty stars“

“This is a hidden gem. I tried this restaurant out because so many satisfied customers. I tried the candied wing dinner which came with 2 sides; I had the yellow rice and string beans. I have say the wings were phenomenal!!!! The service is great and everyone that works are very welcoming. Everything was freshly made, so it pay to order and pickup. “Was here in on a mini vacation and was recommended to this place . As I woman that works in the food industry this pace was really good !!! They were busy but got our food out in a good quality time . Garlic shrimp was amazing !!! Dave the sauce for dipping your bread and even adding your rice for a nice twist !!! Will def come back ! Staff was friendly . And it’s a byob which makes it great as I’m on a budget with travel . Thank you guys !!!“

I live in the area, and they have always delivered on time, friendly, with great portions, and delicious. as an example, the cheese steak(with everything) is not like a philly cheese, but it is so damn good. Even though I had driven by, I had never pay attention at the restaurant, because on the side street 71 rd ?, there is no name plate on the facade, only on the Queens Blv. side, only when I drove east to west on Queens Blv I noticed the name; I think it should have a name on the side street also, because right now is a long black slab,take it from someone that works in the advertising industry!!
