I have never been to a poke bowl. For my 1st experience it was great. It was similar to Subway but for bowls. There were many choices, I especially liked the zucchini noodles as a base as opposed to a rice. You were able to fill out a sheet to pick all your options and just hand it into the person behind the counter. That way, they knew exactly what you wanted. The price was reasonable. The parking was a breeze, could've parked closer actually. This place is technically called Hawaii Poke Bowl II. It's tucked in on the 1st floor. Not a ton of seating but we were there at 12 and there was plenty of room. Max 4 tops. Pencils and menus for the build your own bowl when you enter. I have not tried this before, picked a few ingredients I enjoy from sushi rolls. I'd say the person making the bowl was generous with the ingredients. What I like about Hawaii Poke Bowl that you always get fresh ingredients, the rice is always warm and they work quick. I never had any issues with them. You can create any bowl you want and it will not be a disappointment. Salmon and tuna are high quality. Spicy salmon doesn’t mean shaved fish for them.
