“We tried Hook & Reel for the first time and enjoyed it so much, we went back 2 days later. The food was well prepared, delicious, and served hot. Yummy lobster bisque, I ordered a 2nd bowl after finishing the first! Fried calamari was yummy as well. The raw oysters were perfect and the boil with Hook & Reel's own Cajun sauce was outstanding. Our server, Moe, was friendly and very efficient; he makes your dining experience error-free so you can relax and enjoy the meal. The Manager here gets credit for a well-run ship! He really appreciates the customers and it shows. You will definitely want to eat here frequently. Great service, tasty food, relaxed atmosphere - you won't be disappointed.“

“Simply put, the trip to Staten Island is worth it for Denino’s.
The regular cheese pie alone is outstanding. Perfect crust with that slight crisp underneath, great char on the bubbles, fresh mozzarella, balanced sauce, and just the right amount of basil. It’s simple, but when it’s done this well, that’s all you need.
The vodka pie was unreal. The sauce is creamy, rich, and packed with flavor without feeling heavy. It coats the mozzarella perfectly and the crust still holds up slice after slice. That sweet, slightly tangy vodka sauce with the char from the oven is a combination that’s hard to beat.
The buffalo wings were excellent. Crispy outside, juicy inside, and the sauce had real flavor, not just heat. The fried zucchini was a sleeper hit. Perfectly breaded, crunchy, and great dipped in marinara. Even the sautéed spinach with garlic was fresh and done right.
Denino’s feels old school in the best way. Big menu, generous portions, and food that’s consistent and confident. Nothing trendy. Just really good Italian food and pizza that delivers. The service was amazing too. They were very attentive to us and shook everyone’s hand at the end of the meal. What a great experience!“

“My husband and I recently had our wedding here and our experience here has always been pleasant.All the employees were very helpful, kind and professional. The managers were very honest and we appreciated them so much. Special thanks to Stephania for running the show and Tara for taking care of me the whole night. I could not have asked for a better venue. Small mishaps did not matter because the staff was on it and had several backup plans. They made my wedding day amazing ♥️.“

“Went there last week to see what this place was about. OMGGGGGG I can't say enough good things about it. I had the matzo ball soup and 1/2 pastrami sandwich with a side of coleslaw. Everything was absolutely delicious. The soup tasted like my grandmother made it. I cantcwait to go back and try other things, especially the breakfast options. The waitstaff was so attentive.“

“Thanks to a friend of ours, we found a nice spot for Mediterranean cuisine! The Sahara bread was amazing… Falafel was the best I ever had and the hummus was DELISH! Main dish, I had chicken gyro dish, it was exactly what I wanted. The service was very welcoming… give it a try if you like this type of cuisine.“

“Wow, very good breakfast. I asked for a custom item that wasn't on the menu... A Waffels with just the Walnut Syrip. It's was more walnuts than syrip and it was AWSOME! Bacon was crispy just the way it should be too! Coffee was good. Thanks I will be back soon.“
