Starbucks in Stony Brook

“I was staying on Long Island for a short while for work and came here every day. There's a particular employee named Nick that has so much positive energy it really brightened my day, he even managed to learn my name and we were on first name terms by the middle of the week. Thanks to all the crew here and cheers to Nick :)

Parking: Lots of empty spots directly outside“

“Super nice staff even when it's outrageously busy. Most of the bad reviews are complaints about how long the lines are, which can't be helped because it's a small counter space with only 2 registers. My only piece of advice is to order as early as possible because even on the rare chance they DO mess up an order after the 5-10 min wait, you can tell them and they'll happily re-do it for you. It's unfair to blame the 4 people working when the store is packed and half the customers order complicated drinks that take a while to make properly.“

The staff here is phenomenal. I’ve worked at SB HSC for almost 2 years now and the staff is full of familiar faces.

This location is in a hospital lobby so you might want to consider checking the wait time and ordering ahead on the app. It can either be very busy or not busy at all depending on time. Mostly shift changes etc…

Beverage quality is phenomenal. The baristas here are really good. If you’re a regular they won’t forget you.
