Too many delicious drinks to choose from. We tried a few and loved them all. There are lots of small plate dishes to share. We were there close to Halloween and the decorations were awesome. “LOVE LOVE LOVE The High Horse! We had our high school reunion there last night and all I can say is good things about them and their staff! From start to finish Genevieve was there to make sure everything ran smoothly. Once we arrived to set up she came swiftly and guided us through the space. The bartenders were not only friendly (and funny) but were quick and efficient for all of our guests. They got creative with our drinks and accommodated each of our needs. If you’re looking for an event space to hold your next event the high horse is the place to be!“

“This place was AMAZING! I never came here before they renovated, but the interior is so beautiful and well thought out, so great job to them! The environment, the staff, the FOOD! Absolutely no notes.

We had a variety of amazing apps (not pictured). Started with the tuna tartar, meatballs (10/10 wish I had a second order of them), and the garlic bread sticks. Everything was cooked so well, while presentation was just as great.

Next the dinner. We had a steak, the pork shank, a salad, and a surf and turf (off menu) that was a full steak with clam stuffed shrimp. Steaks were perfectly medium rare and tender, the pork shank was so tender it was falling off the bone (in the best way), and even the simple salad was fresh and tasty.

Now the dessert. Everything is made by either the head chef, the soup chef, or the waitress. Each one is better than the next. Personal favorite: the dark chocolate cake. My girlfriend, who hates coconut, tried the coconut cream pie and said "wow. I might like coconut now". Her personal favorite is the bread pudding bites.

After dinner we sat at the bar and had a couple drinks while chatting with the bartender, who is so attentive and friendly! Lots of regulars and locals here, but it's part of what made the whole evening so lovely! We will DEFINITELY be back!“

There's an entrance to the restaurant from the front exterior of the mall (near the parking lot) and another entrance just a few steps inside of the Broadway Mall. Restaurant was very clean, bright, and spacious; has a very good dining atmosphere and décor. Restaurant was quiet when dined here for lunch. Waiter was attentive and courteous. We had the kinya ramen combos with takoyaki and shrimp tempura. The ramen broth was rich and a little creamy, noodles were great, pork was delicious, but the ramen egg had a very strong chemical taste, like it was possibly over-marinated. I love the complimentary prawn chips; it's a wonderful childhood nostalgia snack. Overall, the food was satisfying, delicious, and very filling.“

“Oak and Vine in Glen Cove, NY, offers an exceptional dining experience that combines fantastic food, excellent service, and an inviting atmosphere. I’ve been wanting to visit since it opened, and I finally had the chance during my recent trip to Long Island.

I arrived with a large group of eight, and we were seated together by the piano, which provided a lovely ambiance. My guests enjoyed sampling the wine at the bar before I arrived.

To start, we ordered appetizers: Crispy Calamari and Quinoa & Beets. The calamari was well-fried and plentiful, making it a hit at our table. The Quinoa and Beets complemented each other beautifully, and the presentation was pleasing to the eye.

The entrees were outstanding. We enjoyed Bucatini Bolognese (ground beef, marinara, fresh ricotta, and focaccia bread crumbs), Rigatoni (lobster meat, Calabrian chili pepper, and light tomato cream sauce), Filet Mignon (roasted asparagus, buttermilk mashed potatoes, and au poivre sauce), and New York Strip (shallot-roasted fingerling potatoes, rainbow carrots and cauliflower, and red wine sauce).

The Bucatini Bolognese was rich in flavor, and the portion size was more than enough. The meat was well-seasoned, and I would definitely order this again. The Rigatoni stood out to me as well, as the cream sauce was delectable, and the lobster was cooked to perfection. I devoured it quickly because it was that good. The Filet Mignon was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful flavor, as did the New York Strip. You can tell the steak is high quality, as they cook it to your preference.
