“Went in as a party of 3 on a weekend. We lucked out and got free parking a few blocks away. In the morning this place is a small Cafe, but in the eve it is a bar with smallish menu. We all got cocktails and appetizers. Cocktails are $18 and are very strong. The hummus platter was $22 and we enjoyed the olive one a lot (no chickpeas?) The pulled pork sliders were OK and I enjoyed the wings. Tables are small and decor is modern.“

“This is a new restaurant opening in Oyster Bay, NY. This is real authentic northern Italian food. Everything was so delicious. Fresh made mozzarella, fresh hand made pasta. The flavors of these dishes really show how much thought and preparation they put into creating food like this and it really shows. I strongly recommend this place. My family drove around, looking for a place to eat, and my sister says let’s try that place and boy we were not disappointed. First off the hostess Olivia and her sister the server Alex were pleasant and professional. And the food was spot on. But What surprised me it’s a tight little wine less but very diverse. Can’t recommend this place enough!“

“This is now my mid-week highlight, loved Live Music Wednesday! All the staff members were welcoming and accommodating....the facilities were clean, drinks were good and there was bar food available that night. Derrick Barnett and The Statement Band were high energy as usual. The owner is a dynamic performer too!

Breakfast was great , I loved the touch of Lettuce on the plate which was tasty along with the potatoes and Eggs . The only thing that bothered me was the Bill which much to my surprise was $ 5.00 for a small cup of coffee.. that added $ 10 for my friend and myself. The issue is NOWHERE on the menu is it listed .. Our Waiter David was attentive and pleasant, but he should have mentioned that a cup of coffee is extra or offered a glass of Orange juice .. I’ll go there again because I really like the place and it’s close to my home .. next time I’ll ask if the glass of water they put in the table is in place of a nice morning cup of coffee…“

“Very nice inviting decor. Service was just ok. The server was basic, didn’t tell us it was happy hour? Nor did she mention and food selections. For a new establishment I guess I was expecting a bit more … maybe ask if we had been there before? Check back to see how our food was( it was outstanding), we got more help from the water girl Had to ask to clear table. Had to ask for check from the water girl? The server had much support. Seems she took our order and disappeared. But the server assistants were on point. Dinner was really good. We will go back… because of the food. Even the manager walked pasted us a dozen times. There were 6 tables.. perfect time for manager to mingle… just saying. Place is very nice, great menu too. Just left feeling ignored. Nice music too. Maybe the server was having a bad day? “I love to travel, and Revel restaurant in Garden City, NY, is truly one of the best restaurants I have been to. The managerial staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Melissa, our server, explained everything so well, and she took her time with us. The wait staff worked with her seamlessly so that everything came out on time, and our water glasses were always full. The cuisine offered so many different choices, even for vegetarians and vegans. The vegetarian dishes I tried were a myriad of flavors, and it was so nice to experience new creations that I have never had at any other restaurant. Revel’s decor and lighting made us feel like we were somewhere very special but also comfortable. If I lived near this restaurant, I would visit frequently. We loved our experience.“

“We moved off Long Island over 8 years ago and always loved la Parma when we lived here even though it was an hour drive for us to enjoy the amazing food. This time when we came up to visit for Christmas we knew we had to get there for a great dinner. I can easily say it still is one of the best places to get amazing Italian food around. The Chicken Napoli was phenomenal and there is nothing like their penne à la vodka! The drinks were great and service was top notch. We also happened to go the day after Christmas when we got lots of snow and the car valet even brushed off our car! We were so happy to not feel rushed because we were there with great friends and just really enjoying ourselves! We can’t wait to come back and visit from Georgia to have their food again!“

“Went to Rincon Criollo for my son's birthday. I've been there before for a large birthday party. Please take into account the large party was about 40 people and the service was very good. I enjoyed this time more because it was only a table of 5 and the service was even better. The croquettes were excellent and the Vaca Frita with maduros was also excellent. Oh, I forgot...the Mojito was sooooo good. Muddled lime and mint for sure. And of course, we embarrassed our adult son with a very festive birthday celebration with the staff...bingo and thank you! I requested a ham, COOKED/SAUTÉED ONION & American cheese omelet, fries and RYE toast with crispy bacon. My omelet was well done, the onions RAW, fries were ice cold my bacon was not cooked and not there had to tell the runner, and my toast was marble. All this for OVER &50.00!!! The server came by, we were basically finished. Asked how everything was. How would he or the runner know our order. Neither one looked at the order. NEVER AGAIN!!!“

“Bar Americano is an absolutely fantastic addition to our neighborhood! They offer quality drinks, excellent food, great atmosphere, and great service! All of the staff are great! The manager, Lauren is the best, she takes great care of us every time we go! If you’re looking for a place to do happy hour, they have probably be best menu in the area. Great prices on drinks and food! Shishito peppers, crispy brussels, delicious meatballs, and short rib sliders! All on happy hour plus so much more! They even offer a bottle of wine with a charcuterie board for only $35 during happy hour!
At this point, I’ve had pretty much every entrée on the menu, all are fantastic! My favorites being the spiced steak and the salmon!

As many of my followers know, I don’t believe in one-and-done restaurant reviews. Real opinions come from returning multiple times to understand the consistency, quality, and service over time. That’s how a restaurant earns the label of being truly great.

Last night we returned to Piccolo and once again it delivered.

A warm greeting, a quick stop at the bar, running into friends for some laughs, and then a beautiful dinner with my wife in one of Huntington’s most charming dining rooms. Even with a lively crowd, the atmosphere somehow melts into the background and lets you focus on the moment and the person across the table.

Jeremy took great care of us while Jason stopped by to check in, something that always makes the experience feel personal.

We started with the wedge salad and a thoughtful complimentary tuna tartare that was bright, fresh, and beautifully balanced with avocado.

My wife chose the Orecchiette Caroline — perfectly balanced with hot & sweet sausage, broccoli rabe, tomatoes, garlic and oil.

I went with the weekly special Braised Boneless Beef Short Rib with horseradish cream, rich jus, crispy onions, vegetables and mashed potatoes — tender, flavorful and beautifully presented.

We finished with their house-made carrot cake and cappuccino, which remains one of my favorites.

Piccolo continues to deliver warm hospitality, exceptional food, and that perfect romantic neighborhood atmosphere that keeps us coming back.
