“As always I give this restaurant 5 stars. Met friends for dinner on Sunday night. The service is exceptional. All of us had something different and we all enjoyed our food. My friend did a price fixed with filet of sole and said it was delicious. The brussel sprouts appetizer was excellent. We also started with fried calamari, though small portion, was good. I had a hamburger which was huge with the onions and musrooms. The burger was cooked to perfection. The other two in our party also finished their food. It was very quiet so we were able to communicate easily with our friends.“

The food is prepared so well and it's so nice that they have some feature meals that change with the seasons and take advantage of what produce are available. Our waiter was wonderful and attentive. The noise level was perfect and I chose it because my niece has hearing challenges and we can count on the perfect ambiance for an enjoyable evening.“

“I ended up at Rustic Root twice this weekend. Once for lunch with my hubby. Great Caesar (we shared), followed up with delicious burgers and fries…best buns ever! I liked the vibe so much that when a friend wanted to meet up for a nice glass of wine, that became our destination. Super friendly bartender Hailey, pointed us to the perfect glass tonight. We paired it with a yummy flatbread to share. Great vibe, great food, great service!“

“Here’s the thing—Season Bistro is the best restaurant in Long Island. I know how big a statement that is. Go eat there and tell me I’m wrong though. The chef is brilliant, creative, and does things with pork belly that normal chefs would rave about! The entire menu is amazing. And that menu changes 4 times a year—depending on, yes, the season. “The Audrey is such a nice addition to the town of Oyster Bay. Finally , somewhere to go with live music , DJ and Karaoke nights. The food is excellent with a variety to pick from. The bar feels like you are sitting in your own home.
The bartenders serve a nice pour on a glass of wine ? .
Kendra, Giulia and the other bartenders are so knowledgeable on different hard liquor drinks . When I’m undecided ? on what to drink they always come up with something great.
Can’t wait to sing at Karaoke night for Halloween ? 10/32 @ 9 pm!

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“We actually never went to this location before, but had greatly enjoyed their prior second location in Port Washington. Expectaions were right on point. Food was excellent from appetizer to the main course. Maybe it's weird but I kind of respect even the small things like when a restaraunt offers to chose to serve in house brewed ice tea as opposed to something pre processed. The Brisket from todays specials list was perfect. This restaurant is 45min drive from home and well worth the trip. Thank You, we will be back.“

“I have been to The West End Cafe many times for dinner, but this was my first time for lunch. Although the menu was more limited there many fewer people there. It tends to be very noisy in the evening but was much quieter during lunch making it conducive for conversation.“

“Eight of us had a marvelous dinner last night. My wife and I got there early so we sat at the bar and had a drink first while waiting for the others to arrive. The bartender, Alaina (sp?) was beyond lovely and made marvelous cocktails. The food was delicious, the presentation was wonderful and we received excellent service. “I was invited here for a dinner by our Boss who is also an Honourable member of this club. This is place is truly beautiful. Nice water-view! Inside of the place is even more beautiful! Nicely decorated and very Private place! The food was delicious! I’ve tried their fried Calamari and crab cake. One of the best appetizers I’ve ever had! Their Grilled Salmon for the entrées is out of the world! Highly recommended place for dinner! If you know someone who’s the member of this club, try this place out! You won’t regret!“

“Harley's American Grille Restaurant in Farmingdale is great place for Lunch, Brunch or Dinner. The place has been redone with a really nice decor. Menu is not extensive but offers a lot of great options. We had the Chicken Sandwich and the Wild Mushroom Ravioli.- both were delicious. They offer a Wine List. The service was awesome and Jesse our server was just amazing. Parking is hard in the Village but there are large metered parking lots behind all the stores.“

“I'm fortunate that one of the best Chinese-American restaurants in the 3 Villages area (Amityville, Copiague, and Lindenhurst) is only a block away from my apartment. The waitress assigned to our table took a long time to bring us a dessert menu, and after we asked another server, he told us they only had one option for dessert - couldn't our waitress have told us that, instead of telling us that she would get a dessert menu - that didn't even exist!? Then there was an even longer span of time getting our check to us. Perhaps these servers are tasked with more than they can handle, but when people dine out, there is an expectation of good, courteous, prompt service. I do not blame the wait staff, as they are just young people trying to earn some extra cash. The fault is with leadership being short sighted with the insufficient staff numbers, especially on a busy night. Come out - talk to the patrons, explain the wait, offer a discount if needed... Anything to prevent a negative review! Food was great - no issues there, but the taste did not erase the feeling about the poor service. I would come back, but please do better.“
