“I just moved to Glen Ave and had no idea who to get good Chinese from so I read reviews. Some were scary with roaches and this looked good! Well they exceeded my expectations. The sesame chicken was cooked perfectly and followed my request on shrimp fried rice and pork fried rice. Both rice dishes had fresh and perfectly cooked meat and not overcooked and hard. The crab ragoons are the best I have ever had and I am a snob when it comes to those. This is THE best authentic Chinese restaurant I ever had and will be ordering again soon!“

“This is the best Chinese in the area! I've tried many many dishes. The only thing I'd caution on is their lemon chicken. The chicken itself was delicious and well portioned, but it didn't come with lemon sauce. It was lime and even had a lime rind in it! So, I would definitely stay clear of that or make sure when ordering that it's definitely lemon and NOT lime! It was so bitter, I couldn't eat it, gross! It was like dunking your chicken into a margarita! Which surprised me, bc everything else is very very good! It's always fast, piping hot, orders are correct, nice ppl, etc.“

“I’ve tried a LOT of different places around Syracuse in look for good Crab Ragoons & Lo Main and this place is definitely the best. Generous in portions, good amount of veggies in the lo main and the Rangoons aren’t mostly bread/crust!! Highly recommend!!“

“Ordered the sesame chicken with pork fried rice and a fried shrimp egg roll. Service was simple and quick, took about 8 minutes. The food is above average for a Chinese takeout place. You can tell there is a degree of freshness in everything. The sesame chicken was fried perfect with a light crunch but not overpowering in sauce. The chicken itself was juicy and felt like it wasn’t frozen. The sauce also was different than usual, but in a good savory way. The rice by far was my favorite, it wasn’t greasy and had good chunks of pork and egg. It’s not yellow like other places, which I think is a good thing. The shrimp egg roll was the only letdown as I felt it was a bit too greasy but definitely not bad. I travel for work and am from NYC — take my review for what it is.“

“Food tastes great with authentic Sichuan flavors. Dishes were spicy, flavorful, and enjoyable overall. However, prices felt a bit high considering the portions and quality. Service was okay but could definitely use some improvement. Still a solid place to visit occasionally if you’re craving good Sichuan cuisine.“

I think I will make this part of my Friday night post-workout ritual. The Sweet and Sour chicken with a side of fries and wings for twenty bucks lasts like two meals, I can bring the extra to work. “Our family recently had takeout from Fortune Hawaii multiple times, and each visit was a delight. The egg rolls are a standout, boasting a perfect balance of crispiness and flavor without being overly oily. The mystery behind their preparation intrigues me. Additionally, my son consistently enjoys the General Tso, appreciating the consistently excellent taste with every order. “First time having food from this restaurant. As a person that doesn't eat meat it had some good options. I had the garlic mushrooms over rice with vegetable spring rolls. The spring rolls were very soggy so I only took one bite. But the rest of the food was pretty good.“

“I have been ordering from China Cafe for years!! This is easily my favorite place to go to for a quick and delicious meal. They are very family orient (most times you will see the kids at one of the tables or the family enjoying a meal together). This place is busy, but you would never notice. The deliveries are very quick.“

“Tight Space there were 12 people in basically a phone booth waiting to order or to pick up food. This is because they closed their dining room after the Pandemic. They have a whole Banquet Hall I've never saw in Use it's been closed for years and now there's a window you order from. GREAT FOOD though.“

“So yummy! Everything is on point. Bo bo platter...That fried crab stick was delicious as heck and I don't usually like crab stick like that. Boneless ribs...There's something really special in that sauce. Cashew chicken was absolutely delicious but had mostly peanuts with a few cashews for garnish. Possibly the best lo mein and fried rice in Syracuse. The fried chicken wings are second to the tastiest I've ever had. I got to know what that flavoring is that they marinate them in. So happy they have delivery with Uber eats now. I don't drive so I could never have it before. I remember those chicken wings from years ago when somebody went there and let me try their leftovers. I've been dying to have them again ever since and now I can!“

“This is one of the cleanest Chinese restaurants I have ever been to I mean it's very dated inside but all of the counters are clean all of the grills and pans look clean. There isn't food splattered all over and there food is very good. Only Chinese place in town that hasn't given me an upset stomach.“

“Orders on Grubhub and my order came PIPING hot and they included rice and 2 fortune cookies as a little something extra. We’ve ordered their catering before and it was just as delicious. It’s a decent price for that amount of food ($35 for 4 meals worth of sesame chicken and lo mein). They PACKED my lo mein into the container but for $10, I wish there was just a bit more.

“This is the best Chinese food I have ever eaten, and I am a big Chinese foodie. The food had the best taste, the right amount of seasoning and was fresh and hot. “Great spices, good char and smoke on the barbecue skewers. It tastes super traditional and is reminiscent of street skewers and beer I'd grab late nights or after work. This is the kind of food that is meant to enjoyed in groups and with some beer to aromatize the spices and smoke in the meat. Prioritize the skewers and dry/spicy options on the menu as this place specializes in that. As is traditional in Chinese restaurants, they offer a wide expanse of options that may not reflect their specialty. I hope this place takes off and they can continue to grow/improve their service.
