“We've been to every other Chinese place in the area over the years and this place is by far our fave! Crispy things are crispy excellence and spicy things are delish. Super nice employees are always helpful and nice. We always enjoy whatever we get here!“
“We've been there at least 6 times in the past year and the food and service is always excellent. Plenty of choices, even for kids, and the staff was very friendly and seemed to be glad we were there. Easy to find, too. In the plaza across the side street from Walmart.“
“Ordered online, super easy to make substitutions, costs more to do but we expected that. From the start of ordering online to food on table was 35 mins. Delivery guy was super nice, and actually quite funny. Food was hot fresh and quite good. Egg roll was delicious! Not the best Chinese food I've ever had, but one of the best "strip mall"/ "plaza" Chinese take out place we've ever been to, Y'all there were actual vegetables in my vegetable lo mein ?(if you know... You know.) All in all price was reasonable, food was good, service was great!“
“I've eaten here a few times and it was always good.I'm actually shocked at how many negative reviews there are of this place. It's the mall so you can't expect top quality food. I've had the chicken and the lo main and each time I had them I thought they were good! And for the price I think it's fair to ask $15 for a plate considering the time to prep and cook these kinds of food, it's not pizza or burgers and fries. I've seen the complaints for the serving size but I never took issue with it as I always felt they gave you a fair amount for the price and plate size. It's their rule on how much they give you and I just accept it. It's a not a buffet so I can imagine wanting extra will cost more. And from my interactions with the people working here they've been nice enough, I made my order, they got my food and I paid and that was it. Never had an unpleasant experience once. I feel for any bad experience someone may have was that they may have annoyed the workers or were expecting too much from some Chinese joint in a mall food court. Or it was just an off day, this happens and we shouldn't be too harsh on people who are just trying their best, unless it's a consistent thing though. But from my experience, this isn't a bad place to eat at the mall. I love Chinese food and having this place as an option while at the mall is nice.“
“solid chinese buffet experience! i hadn't been to a buffet in probably a decade and i wasn't disappointed. the options were pretty good and i really enjoyed the overwhelming majority of everything i ate... and i tried almost everything. the price point is fair for the value, so all in all it's worth a stop!“
“I can only comment on the food. I got the schezuan chicken combination. I thought it tasted good! It's pretty Americanized, with baby corn and all, but the flavor was there. It had a bit more kick than some other Chinese takeout places, but mild enough the average spice adverse person.Good price for what you get.“
“A friend and I had dinner here today. The place was very quiet and peaceful, the place was very clean, the waitress was very polite. The food was fresh and hot. I would highly recommend the Grand Buffet of Leray to anyone who enjoys Chinese food.Vegetarian options: You might want to ask or see what's available in vegetarian.Parking: A large open parking lot with handicapped parking in front of the stores.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. There's wheelchair parking in front of the Buffet.“
“I have always laughed at people who said Panda Express was amazing Chinese food. Apparently I never had it and was confusing it with somewhere else. This place is hands down amazing, the best and try freshest of even sit down Chinese places. My daughter and I went right before closing and got the last of the options. I assumed it would be awful and soggy but it was just as frustrating sh as if they had just made it. It's now our go to place and we always get the Walnut Shrimp. So crisp and tender and amazing. I can't say enough about this place and I eat Chinese food every chance I get.“
“Good Chinese food! I wish they had the chewy chow mein noodles with a bit of crisp but it is the crunchy noodles they use. Some of the items have more liquid sauce than I've had at other places but that's just a personal preference. I'm used to chop suey having noodles but I guess my hometown made it incorrectly lol. Definitely will come back. It is pretty tasty.“
