The Clerks House was the perfect birthday breakfast! The service was fast and friendly, and the food was absolutely incredible. Their homemade sourdough was some of the best bread I’ve ever had. Everything was super fresh and tasty.
This place is so special. Cozy, beautiful, cheery. It feels like a bit of an escape that happens to have good treats and good coffee.
I've been a couple of times now and it's easily my favorite coffee/pastry spot in the area. Everything I've had is made well (that orange Creamsicle scone! The smores croissant!). The bakery items and cold foam change often, which I love. The employees are BEYOND kind and friendly. This place isn't dog friendly, they're dog loving, and I couldn't appreciate that differentiation more. The Clerk's House has a cute little nook by the window and a spacious patio that feels like a wooded spot. Service is fast, friendly and efficient; baristas are helpful and employees are BEYOND kind. Prices are fair and the space is adorable. The menu includes iced latte with peach syrup and cold foam, iced apple crisp latte, hot latte and homemade sourdough bread that many call the best bread. Pastries change often and are always fresh and tasty, such as orange Creamsicle scone, smores croissant, blueberry lemon bun (special this week), burnt caramel cookie, banana caramel scone, corn muffin and Lemon poppyseed buns that are very lemony. Sandwiches on the house focaccia are incredible, with options like Calabrian and Turkey Rainbow. The bakery items and cold foam are superb, and the lemon poppy bun made up for a limited item menu. The Clerk's House is easy to get to and remains a favorite coffee/pastry spot for those who love fresh, delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere.
