“Our family is from Syracuse, NY since late-1800's. Family first laid sewage pipes during the growth of this city, the rest worked trades in stone, plumbing, electrical and later in the Civil Services, all were WWII or Korea military service. You can not be more Syracuse NY then Columbus Bakery. There is honor in that family and a dedication. Never knew a table setting without Columbus ingredients surround us.“
“This is the Sweet & Spicy Sandwich (GF). It consists of a fluffy pillowy buttermilk biscuit, a farm fresh egg, harissa roasted sweet potato, cheddar cheese, spicy chipotle aioli, arugula, and zing pickled red onion. Every bite was divinely delightful.“
“So I went there for the first time yesterday. It was at closing time so they didn't have a ton of stuff to try but they suggested a buttery croissant....Baby, let me tell you to run do not walk. They will be on my dinner table at Easter time for sure. They were so good I went back in and brought another one. Everyone was super nice and took the time to go over what they sell. Owner (believe) also made me a coffee (mind you this what at closing) I never been so I didn't realize and she was super patient and kind. We tried the snicker doodles and they were soft, buttery and delicious. I'll go back for their excellent service alone.“
“Brought home a pound of cookies for my 90 year old Italian grandmother and while she’s usually a tough critic, she LOVED these. Trust her judgment, people. She has decades of cookie-eating experience and a taste for Italian authenticity.I’ll definitely be back to buy more treats, in case she doesn’t save any for me!“
“I purchase freshly baked Italian bread here point or soft sided style I also purchase many many cookies several kinds of italian desserts desserts and this time around and Ia fresh made cake. Everything is always very good here.People behind the counter are always very friendly....... This trip I picked up 6 cookies a cake and a loaf of bread.... A little more than I normally do but it is all worth it....Parking: Parking lot in front of the building never an issue for parking as people are typically in and out of this business and the business next door......“
“These are the BEST gluten free cookies I have ever eaten in my LIFE. I’ve had them several times, and tried all the flavors. Not only are the cookies amazing, but customer service is amazing. All of my questions were answered quickly, and she was so friendly, kind, and helpful!!!“
“SinBun is a must visit gourmet cinnamon bakery. The service is amazing. The employees and owners are very personable and friendly. The classic bun was all kinds of deliciousness. The perfect balance of filling and flakey dough was covered with a delectable classic icing that was not too sweet. The creme brûlée bun was absolutely amazing. Again a perfect bun top with crème brûlée,. The brûléed sugar actually broke when you cut into it, as if you were eating the classic dessert. On a savoy note, the chicken bacon ranch was a meal in itself. The bun, packed with real bacon piece is perfectly topped with homemade ranch, crispy chicken pieces (real chicken, not “nuggets), scallions, and MORE bacon!!!! I will take the garlic parm bites with a side of marinara sauce any day over garlic knots! A great snack or addition to a meal - real parm, imagine that! The from scratch cooking at SinBun is an absolute must try. Add it to you weekend list. They also cater. Imagine, hosting a meeting with the most amazing buns around. It would be a home run. Also, ready to bake pans will be available soon. Imagine eating these for Easter morning or adding to your Mother’s Day brunch. I strongly suggest you check them out.“
“Ordered a cake for pick up. I was greeted with a friendly young lady and was then waited on by a happy smiling young man. He was only to happy to have the cake completed with the writing that was needed. He then proceeded to assist with a few bakery items and a cup of soup! He also carried the cake out to the car! Absolutely fantastic service and the cake and additional items were delicious. I'll be back for another lunch and for the next cake I need! Five stars“
“I have been going to Lyncourt bakery since I can remember! They have the best Italian bread and pastries! The prices are always fair! Whenever I am visiting my family this is my first stop! It is a cash only bakery but it's worth it!!! Wish they were in NJ!“
“I attended a baby shower at Cafe Blue. They served delicious sandwiches(BLT with avocado, yum) of different types and 3 different salads followed by cupcakes for dessert (triple chocolate also yum!). The staff was pleasant and the cafe itself was very pretty. I would definitely go there again.“
“Loved coming here!! Large selection of every bakery item you can think of! I came in for bread and left with a large box of pastries also!! Everything is delicious and fresh, the price is great too! The staff was very patient as I looked and they very nice and helpful. Highly recommend stopping in here! We'll be back, thanks!“
“Amazing bakery and such friendly employees. Always so helpful! Their restaurant is across the street "Pastabilities", a wonderful Syracuse institution for decades. This bakery is where the "stretch" bread is made. A long loaf - crispy on the outside and full of nooks and crannies inside. They sell, the stretch bread, round loaves in so many flavors! Raisin pecan, asiago, gorgonzola, olive as well as a few varieties of rolls. They sell pizza squares and homemade pasta, sauces and spicy tomato oil. Their scones, cookies, shortbread and macaroons are delicious. I picked up some of the chocolate chip shortbread, peanut butter scones and some everything seasoning rolls.“
“Thanks for helping me find last minute donuts for my celiac daughter’s donuts with dad event at her school! She was over the moon to have her very own safe donuts! They were the most delicious donuts I’ve ever had!!!!!!!!!! We can’t wait to come back!“
“My younger son saw the Crumbl store while we were out and wanted to go. He was telling me how he knew about the place and how great the cookies were. Long story short, he didn't lie. The cookies are fantastic! The atmosphere and service, not so much. No one greeted us when we walked in, no asked if we had been there before, no asked if we needed help. I had to ask if we could pay with cash before we ordered because all I saw was a cc machine (yes, you can pay with cash). Went a second time, they were busy with customers, but there wasn't friendly service, no thank you have a nice day/night. They didn't look happy to be there.“
“I give all my buyer clients gift baskets when they close on a new home. In every basket I include the three items that are a part of an old traditional house blessing: “Bread—that this house may never know hunger, Salt—that life may always have flavor, and Wine—that joy and prosperity may reign forever” I always use small, local businesses for the products to make and fill my basket. Especially the bread! I want it to be same-day fresh, and from a bakery as close to the client’s new home as possible. Well, yesterday I had a final walkthrough with a client in the Scottholm neighborhood, and Tous Les Jours was the closest option. Boy was I blown away by every detail of this shop!! It was pristine, every item and every surface sparkled and gleamed, there were so many delicious looking pastries and so many I had never seen before! The chefs were dressed in beautiful gingham uniforms and chatted with us as easily as if they had known us for years. I will definitely be going back many times. And my clients very much appreciated the delicious, authentic French Baguette!“
