“Was invited for the Syracuse Duke basketball game. But before had a wonderful dinner at Joey’s Restaurant. Noticed Big Mama’s Cheesecakes, hm, interesting/catchy name. Make note this is one dessert that so many make, so many claim to have so called mastered etc it is extremely difficult to master. From my 33 years of experience & being a 3 star chef from Manhattan & serving the biggest names in any form of entertainment I have to express that in this crazy culinary business this cheesecake was well beyond anything I have ever tasted. Magnificent isn’t even enough to say. There is a famous restaurant in France named Les Papilles. Exceptional in bakery especially cheesecake. The cheesecake here in Syracuse is right there with Les Papilles. This is a complete lottery win for this area of the country. I’ve been around the globe and have visited many culinary gems, this is in my top 20. Absolutely brilliant“

“We ordered 2 lbs. of cookies in person to be picked up the day before Thanksgiving. When ordering we were asked which ones we wanted and we told them and pointed them out. Unfortunately when we picked up our order it contained a random mixture of cookies some of which we did not select because we didn't like them. Won't be going back.“

I give the two young women who run this place a 5 star rating for friendliness, greeting new coustimers as old friends, and granting me a free cookie as a firsttimer! There is a good variety of homemade baked goods . . . I highly reccommend the BrickHouse Cafe in Brewerton ! You will be glad you dined there.“

“I recently transitioned my three year old to a GF diet due to severe gluten sensitivities. Today was our first stop at the TCC. The woman helping us was so patient and so generous in offering us samples. Her customer service was the best I’ve seen in the service industry. For that alone, I would return. My daughter and I got a chocolate cupcake, cannoli slice, cookie, and bread. We tried each the minute we got home and were completely blown away by the quality. They are some of the best treats we’ve had with or without gluten. I am so grateful TCC is around as we navigate this new normal with my daughter. Thank you for the kindness and treats! “SinBun- Salt City Market I have to say….. this place…. Literally phenomenal. The owners Bri and Jake are beautiful people and their employee Emma has become a friend that I look forward to catching up with when I come to visit. I’ve probably gone like 8-10 times since they opened up in salt city market a few weeks ago. 😅 seriously though, if you haven’t gone yet, please go and try it out. Literally my favorite restaurant and I’m proud to admit that I’ve become a regular here, not just because the food is good (and I mean it’s good) but the people who own it and work there are just great people and I will support this small business as much as I can. I mean come on, if my picky eater nanny kid loves it, then it will be a win in my book every time. My favorites so far are Mac & Cheese and the Buffalo chicken but don’t sleep on the chicken bacon ranch or any of the other buns. They’re all amazing. 💖☺️“

“This bakery has a ton of great options like pineapple buns, Chinese mooncakes, cream puffs, and Swiss rolls. My favorite is definitely the Coffee Swiss Roll. Everything here is super tasty, from the flaky pineapple buns to the creamy Swiss rolls— I highly recommend this bakery.“
