“This place exceeded our expectations!
We were staying in Old Forge for the weekend and this was one of the spots that caught our attention on the way in. We told ourselves we had to go there for dinner before we left town, and we were glad we did.

Being so close to the cabins I can imagine how busy this place gets, but I think we got lucky with our timing because we were seated quickly. Make sure you use the front door and not the side door to avoid seating confusion. Servers are friendly, quick and attentive, running around to make sure everyone is absolutely satisfied with their food.

We got the 28oz sirloin for two (a glass of Merlot is delicious with it) and our side salads with a balsamic vinaigrette that I wish I could have more of! Can’t remember the last time I had a steak that juicy and tender. It was the perfect sharing size too.

Bring your appetites and your stretchiest pants! You won’t be disappointed. 👌🏻”

“An absolutely refreshing place for a meal. Billy’s brings back the great feeling of how business should be done and the way it used to be. As you enter the environment in inviting and comfortable, very warm as well as unique in a special hometown kind of way. The walls are adorned with wine corks that were placed there by hand by the owner (over 5000), and is romantic, cozy, comfortable and special! All of the staff is amazing and the owner “Billy” greets and speaks with you multiple times during your visit and is so friendly and personable, it makes you feel at home. The menu is amazing, and every item on it is prepared to perfection, as well as served in the same fashion. Pasta cooked the way it should be and the serving size is the same, the quality is by far some of the best we have ever had. Once you make it past appetizers and the meal, if you can still enjoy desert you will not be disappointed, and if you didn’t save room, get it to go!!! Actually the whole menu is available to go if need be!!! The cost, well it could be double and we would still be fine, this is an amazing value and experience across the board! Thank you Billy and staff for bringing back dining “the way it should be” in the current day. Here is to 🍷 many more years of success and happy meals!”

“Took a road trip to OF this past weekend, stopped at the Tow Bar, owner is funny, made me chuckle , popcorn is great, blue moon with a slice of orange poured into a glass was awesome. Will deff. go back, check it out, you won’t be disappointed!”

“Best food and best service in Old Forge. Beware, only open past 2 PM on Fridays for fish fry. I wish it was open for dinner always. All the locals there do r a reason.”

“We had dinner at Duffys. What a great experience. It's tavern food, but we'll done. They are under construction, and making it work during the process. Their kitchen is a food truck attached to the building. But don't be fooled. It's a dot down place with good food. Highly recommend the spinach artichoke dip and the reuben.

“Stayed this weekend and had a great time. The property is beautiful! We loved that we could book a room with bunk beds for the kids. Dinner at the restaurant was great as well. Decor is cozy in the best way. Everything we could want for a weekend in ADK”

“my first time here and I loved it! everything was delicious! 10/10! especially the homemade bread, baked fresh daily! and therefore, of course, the bailey’s white chocolate bread pudding, made with that same bread! 🤤🫠 the chocolate gelato, also made in house, was so good but quite rich, I should’ve gone with 1 scoop instead of 2! 🤭 my entrée, the rigatoni con fungi, was magnificent! 🤌🤌”

“First time ever eating there last night 6/17/24. We are from Upstate Ny, come to Old Forge every summer for a week or so because we now live in NC. First I want to begin by saying the boys have come every night for apps and wings. They love it and service was great they said. My husband and I with another couple went last night. Whoever makes the schedule for the workers needs to do a better job. They had 1 server busting her butt doing the best she could ( outside dining only open because of that) Every table was full and the ones that were not were full of dishes. Myself being a waitress for 20 years and the other lady with me, got bus buckets and bussed 6 or 7 tables for the women. She didn’t want us to but we Insisted. Shame on the management! The bartender was also busting her butt and doing an amazing job. One girl who got off her shift stayed and started taking tables. She had already worked all day! That restaurant needs to be VERY thankful for those 3 ladies that worked their butts off last night. If someone has the nerve to leave a bad review, they better not get in trouble because they did amazing! Food was worth the wait but again, they need to step up their management game and get it together!”

“Dec. 6 I know it's off season. Coffee and french fries good. Service good. But pulled pork I could add ketchup and added 100% to zest. Wife's fish quality but greasy as hell. Cole slaw tasted like apples nothing similar to Cole slaw at all. Probably won't eat there again. Plus pulled pork barley luke warm.”
