“I have mixed feelings about this place. I hate to say anything bad. We were there on a holiday weekend. They were out of the chicken liver apperltizer and ot of sauerbraten. I went there for sauerbraten. My wife's Jaeger Schnitzel had hardly any brown sauce, but it was crisp. The entre I ordered was a ham hock Schweinshaxe that I've never seen before and never will again. No sauerbraten, so I tried Schweinshaxe. It was narly and extremely salty. That's probably what it's supposed to be like.

Entrees are served without spatzle. So, after mine was served, I ordered a side of spatzle

“I love this pizza so much. I travel all over the Northeast Region for my job and I have tried many different places but this place...amazing...thank God it's in my home town and only like 10 to 15 mins away from.
So far 3 weekends in a row. It's becoming part of my routine lol. Please don't change anything...Even the Fried Dough is so good and mouth watering

“Beyond wonderful! Concerning prices… this bakery is priceless! Considering how inflation is out of control everywhere, it’s a miracle they are able to maintain at their prices. This is an incredibly exceptional bakery, especially if you require vegan specialty desserts. Macarons? Wow! Custom cakes, sweet treats, not to mention the adorable shop filled with incredible gifts to present a surprise and delight, wherever you are going. Bravissima!“

“We are visiting from out of town and stopped in to grab a pastry for dessert. Everything looked amazing so it was a tough decision. I bought a traditional black and white cookie, and took a few bites in the parking lot. It was the best black and white cookie I have ever had. I ended up going back in to buy another one. “Stopped today because its a rainy day while we were camping not to far away and the food was great. We tried the mac and cheese balls with vodka sauce on the side which were awesome and the nachos with ground beef. The atmosphere was welcoming, the bar was huge and the bartender and customers were very nice. We are not from saugerties so we were just looking for somewhere to find food and drinks. Had tap beers and ciders, it was reasonably priced and a great experience. Would recommend and if i was ever around I would go again.“

“Top shelf!!! We had a group of 17 for lunch. Everyone raved about the excellent food and the wonderful and friendly service. Our menu included London Broil, Salmon, Ceasars Salad with Chicken and Vegetable Quiche with side salad. We had a variety of servings. Everything was sooooo good! Best restaurant in Kingston. We couldn't have chosen a better place.“

“We recently had a wedding in the area and Hudson Valley Dessert Company was the perfect choice for our wedding cake and dessert. They provided an excellent level of service at the tasting, conducting delivery, and throughout the process. We wanted to do a unique cake and the bakers were thrilled with the opportunity to flex their creativity and skills. They worked closely with our venue to ensure the logistics of the cake would work and we completely trusted that everything would go well. Our guests were so impressed by the cake and the other desserts. We had cannolis, pecan squares, and gluten free brownies. Everything was delicious. We found that we got really great value and highly recommend them for others looking to order their wedding cake from the area.“

“The restaurant was picked by our friends who had been there before, and wanted to enjoy it with us.
I had the Pork schnitzel special and my wife had shrimp on linguine special . The Pork schnitzel was very delicious while the shrimp specials had very few shrimp that made it a bit disappointing for her.
The staff was very attentive and friendly which made it a pleasant experience anyway. I would probably go back and order a different entree next time.

“My husband and I took a little day trip from Albany today with no real destination in mind, besides checking out Samuels Sweet Shop. As we drove through town, your restaurant caught our eye! After asking the sweet clerk at Sam’s how your food was, we decided to have lunch on her suggestion. And we are so glad we did! The interior of the restaurant is very nice and it was so warm and cozy as we entered. Your staff were wonderful. We each had a drink… I had a Bellini and he chose a beer. Our server was nice enough to look up the brewery his beer was from for us too (nice added touch that he didn’t have to do) We started our meal with calamari. The breading was so delicious and not heavy and the pineapple dipping sauce was a tasty surprise. I ordered the hot chicken sandwich and he opted for steak. My chicken was the perfect blend of hot and sweet and so good. My husband’s steak was perfectly and we both enjoyed the horseradish sauce it was served with. Both served with your homemade shoestring fries. Both, so good! We had a lovely time sitting and conversing. Your waitstaff checking in just enough to make sure we were taken care of and not pushy to get us out. Overall we loved it! We can’t wait to come back in warm weather and try your outdoor seating. I wish I had gotten our servers name, as he deserves the kudos for being so pleasant!“
