“Love the Irish pub atmosphere. Would highly recommend Ryan's Wake for a private party. We had 50 people who were very comfortable in the space. Private room has its own bar which was great. All the staff we worked with were friendly and accommodating. We had appetizers, since party was 6-9pm. Great working with Jared, as he helped me with party planning suggestions. We brought balloons and some decorations. I was extremely happy with Ryan's Wake private room. Plenty of room to mingle! Great job Ryan's Wake!!“

Our family of 5 visited this afternoon 9/27 for lunch (11:40 am). Our 6 year old had a great time golfing and playing the fooseball table while waiting for his turn. Its beautifully set up!! We booked the VIP room (designed to accommodate up to 20, with 11 comfortable bar stools, a bistro table with 5 available tall cushioned chairs, 2 regular height cushioned chairs that are wide to accommodate everyone, and 2 couches on either side of the fooseball table). Not too expensive either. We will definitely add this hot spot to our family outings rotation!!

I personally was super impressed with my order of crispy onion rings, the dipping sauce I liked most, looked like a thousand island in color but had a mild savory bacon flavor. We did order the mozzarella bread which was gone in less than 5 minutes (devoured by my picky eaters).

My husband had the Back Nine Burger. Presentation was good, but once smooshed together for the 1st bite... the juices flowed indicating perfection to the Medium-rare request. The smell was very pleasant and perfectly blended ingredients boosting each with wonderful complimentary flavors of beef, white cheddar and bacon. The fries were exceptional mimicking my home made steak fries made fresh from potatoes (never previously frozen).

The real America, in Albany, away from the well-beaten tourist tracks. Friendly service, great menu, tasty food, and the proprietor is a gent - even let us get group photos on the stage as he hadn’t a band at the time! It was a wet Sunday but we just had a great family get together inside. Not that far from the city centre and worth finding. Very good value as well.“

Joan their event coordinator was absolutely amazing from beginning planning to end. Great to work with. She made the evening so stress free. We hope to have more events in the banquet room.“

The food was great the drink was strong but not to strong and the hospitality was like being in the south. So if you're out that way stop and have a drink and some wings. “I’m updating my review for Johnnie's On Broadway after another disappointing visit. When we first moved into the area, we were excited to support a local spot, but unfortunately, the experience has gone downhill.

They’ve gone from offering a full menu to just a few items—on this visit, only fried wingettes or fish were available, and sides were limited to string beans, yams, and potato salad. I asked for greens and was given yams instead, which I assume means they had run out. The bartender did her best and wrote the menu options on a sheet of paper, but it was clear the kitchen was unprepared. We arrived around 5 or 6 PM, and she mentioned the staff was “just coming in,” even though the posted hours say they open at 1 PM.

To make matters worse, the food was burnt (I’ve included a photo for reference), and the atmosphere was anything but welcoming. The owner or manager came in and immediately started blasting music so loud we couldn’t even hold a conversation. We ended up taking the food to go and won’t be returning.

“Prompt, friendly service. OUTSTANDING food. Fair warning, the mozzarella logs are enough for the table 😂👌. Seriously delicious. Would recommend. Unpretentious proper pub fare. Little things stood out, romaine on the BLT 👍, asked for a to go box, the server brought a separate container for the au jus. The onion soup wasn't available because they were MAKING it, as opposed to opening a tin or packet. That speaks volumes. To the good.“
