“It was my very first time visiting J & D Good Taste Restaurant… I am beyond satisfied and highly impressed with the quality of the food. Amazing taste. I ordered the griot to stay, the legumes, and Bouillon to go. The griot was absolutely delicious and fresh, platains done well!! Now, when I got home and tasted the bouillon it felt like I was back home at Moms…OMG!! The legumes was the same … just like Moms. They give very nice portions and lots of meat. I’m definitely going back. Now I have to try my Jamaican faves from them. You’ve gained a customer in me. Thank You !!“

“I had Soumie for the first time and it was amazing ! The food tasted fresh and good, the service was good. She was very patient with and very honest. I love Hatian food and culture so this place made it even 100% knowing it's right by my home and it's fresh with good flavor. I love it definitely recommended!“

“Loved my experience here the food was delicious, hot and affordable. we went here to celebrate my mom bday dinner and she loved it, everyone enjoyed there meals even got more food to go (ya know haitians picky) Best Haitian restaurant in Tampa!!“

“I just had the most delicious & juicy meatball I've tasted thus far, plus I finally got acquainted w/ a Haitian patty, which was filled fish & veggies. The Haitian malt energy drink also is a lighter & tastier challenger to Latino branded malta.“

“I gave this place 5 stars bc the Food is a 10 out of 10, however the customer service is poor. They all seem annoyed when they ask what you're getting, be stingy with the Legume, and be looking at you like you have 2 heads most of the time, and when you ask a question about other dishes. I love haitian food, but Im not haitian, and I dont know everything about the dishes they serve. Word of advice Kreyol Taste... learn some customer service skills, so your restaurant can be more inviting.“
