“My husband and I visited this restaurant, late at night, during a one-night stay at the Long Island Marriott. We liked it.
The food we ordered was delicious. The service was excellent.
Bernard, the bartender was competent and friendly.
Jet, the manager was welcoming and amicable.“

“A true hidden gem of a restaurant, with spacious open seatings, amazing interior lighting and decorations, polite and super curteous staff / manager, a unique delicious seasonal menu, and Very Very competetive priced dinner menu.
Truly Very Competetive prices, don't believe me, check out their menu.
I ordered wood grilled kona lamb. The dish was prepared to perfection, well served and delicious.
Considering the location and area, if you are seeking a classy restaurant with amazing atmosphere, seasonal delicious menu, and yummy choices then I highly, highly recomend this restaurant.
And don't miss out on their shot glass, gorgeous desert menu.
I ordered cheese cake. It was gooood !!

“I ended up at Rustic Root twice this weekend. Once for lunch with my hubby. Great Caesar (we shared), followed up with delicious burgers and fries…best buns ever! I liked the vibe so much that when a friend wanted to meet up for a nice glass of wine, that became our destination. Super friendly bartender Hailey, pointed us to the perfect glass tonight. We paired it with a yummy flatbread to share. Great vibe, great food, great service!“

“Here’s the thing—Season Bistro is the best restaurant in Long Island. I know how big a statement that is. Go eat there and tell me I’m wrong though. The chef is brilliant, creative, and does things with pork belly that normal chefs would rave about! The entire menu is amazing. And that menu changes 4 times a year—depending on, yes, the season. I chose Steak Au Poivre from the Prix Fixe, husband and daughter had Chicken Cordon Bleu and Chicken Cacciatore. Everything was excellent and our server, Cathy, was fantastic.“

“Never a bad meal or experience at West End Cafe. The prix fixe menu on Sunday offers great value and enough choice for most dinners in terms of appetizer/salad, entree and dessert. The duck tacos is always a must for us. Appetizers included burrata, mussels (big potful!), meatballs and caesar salad to open. Entrees for the five of us included the flat iron steaks, pork chop and shrimp risotto. To top off the evening meal, we enjoyed apple crisps and parfaits for dessert. Overall, an enjoyable meal with excellent service (Kim was our server) and at a leisurely pace. Great for celebrations...which we did for a birthday.“

For entrees, I thoroughly enjoyed the super tasty and fresh Frutti De Mer, In a delicious red sauce, this was a best ever, chunks of sole filet, mussels, the tenderest Calamari, and clams. Simply delicious, and with a basket of bread to help soak up all that delicious sauce!!! My other half enjoyed the Cacio y Pepi - Super tasty, another great choice! For dessert, Profiteroles - a puff pastry with ice cream in the middle, served with chocolate sauce and fresh berries. Another great choice paired with a cup of hot, black coffee. A great choice for lunch or dinner and Sage also has Sunday brunch.“

There is valet parking, which in 10 degree weather is a huge plus.
There was a coat check which is another perk.
Then we were seated in the main dining area in a lovely and comfortable table with a cloth tablecloth and napkins, which is a great commodity nowadays in an era where even upscale restaurants have given into.
The service was phenomenal.
Presented with warm fresh rolls along with the menus. A food menu and a drinks menu.
We dined a three course meal which was outstanding. From the starters to desert everything was cooked perfectly, plated and presented like an upscale restaurant should.
The meal, service and atmosphere was worth the price.

“New Years Eve & it was normal dining.. There was a special menu, but the regular menu was available as well. We ordered from both. We started w the Delicious tuna tartare.. nicely seasoned - nit over ir chicken nder w succulent, fresh tuna. The steaks (2 different cuts) were seasoned well & cooked to our liking. To-die-for truffled mashed potatoes came with 1 steak. I wasn't going to eat them (not on my diet)..haha.. They were amazing! What I couldn't eat I brought home! We weren't rushed to order ANYTHING. & really took our time & enjoyed our evening out! &.. as particular as I am about my cosmo..they got that just right, too!“
