“Summary: Incredible sushi and an all around fantastic meal. We stopped here on a drive back to NYC and it turned out to be one of the best spontaneous food decisions we have made. The food was delicious, the staff was wonderful, and we would 100% recommend it.

We were passing through Newburgh and decided to stop in for a quick bite. Really glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, kind, and genuinely attentive. It set a great tone for the whole meal.

We ordered two specialty rolls and both were outstanding. The TNT was my personal favorite. Bold, well-constructed, and just delicious. The other roll, a shrimp tempura with sweet mango on top, was equally impressive. The mango added this perfect sweetness that balanced everything beautifully. The sweet potato tempura roll was also a great call and held its own alongside the more elaborate rolls.

Beyond the sushi, I had the Yaki beef noodles, which were really delicious and a nice complement to the rest of the meal. A great option if you want something a little heartier alongside your rolls.
We finished with mochi, which was the perfect way to close out the meal. Light, sweet, and just the right amount to end on a high note.

This place punches well above what you would expect for a stop along the way. Whether you are a local or just passing through like we were, do yourself a favor and stop in.“

“This morning, my family and I decided to try a Chinese and Japanese restaurant that we had never been to before. When we first walked inside, the restaurant looked very clean and welcoming. There were beautiful decorations around the restaurant, and we could smell the food right away. We were all excited because we did not know what to expect.

After looking at the menu, we decided to order a few different dishes so we could try both Chinese and Japanese food. We ordered fried rice, dumplings, shrimp teriyaki, sushi, and ramen. When the food arrived, everything looked delicious and smelled amazing. We tried a little bit of everything, and we were surprised by how good the food tasted. My favorite was the shrimp teriyaki because the shrimp was tender and the sauce was really flavorful.

By the end of the meal, everyone agreed that trying this restaurant was a great choice. Even though it was our first time there, the food and service made us feel like we wanted to come back again. We were happy that we decided to try something new, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to other people. It was a great first experience, and I hope we can visit again soon.“

“Amy’s food is the best. No MSG ever!! We’ve been going there for the last 5 years. Never once have I come out and later get that msg headache or feel bad. Everything is very good! Fresh with good portions. Sushi top shelf. She makes her own dumplings, egg rolls . The shrimp egg rolls are a must try. All the soups are good. No dish water tasting soups. We are there once some times twice a week.“

“I came with a modest-sized group, and while it did take a little while to order, everything was well worth the wait (and it seemed like the restaurant might be slightly short staffed). Our hibachi chef was energetic and fun, and everyone from the front of the house was kind and attentive despite the clear dinner rush.
