“Please ignore all the negative reviews of this place. The food is absolutely delicious! I’m a native Brooklynite & I’ve been living in White Plains for about 2 years and I am very picky when it comes to Chinese restaurants. But this place here reminded me of the place I grew up going to back in East New York. We got the Fried Chicken with Pork fried rice (duh) 10/10! Chicken was seasoned well and crispy too :) the Boneless Spare Ribs were my favorite! The flavor was phenomenal. I’m getting it again the next time I order which will probably be soon LOL. The Sesame Chicken too! 100/10! Don’t hesitate on placing your order, trust me, it’s good! :)“

“We were staying at the Tarrytown house estate and decided to visit Goosefeather for dinner, not having any idea about the restaurant other than that it was located on-site. As Chinese-style martial artists, we were pleasantly surprised to see the Cantonese -fusion menu options as we walked in. Unfortunately, we did not have reservations, but we were able to sit at the bar. What an auspicious turn of luck! The bar offers not only the full menu, but the chance to watch professionals at their craft. We were taken care of by Mariana and Sara, who were busy yet still highly attentive. They were very knowledgeable about the menu, and explained everything even before our questions had a habce to leave our lips. We started with some standard drinks (a spicy martini, and one of their mocktails with Ron Zacapa rum added in). Solid pours, balancing the flavors of the drinks with adequate alcohol to keep things fun). Next week ordered the spicy rice cakes and the potstickers. Each was perfectly done. The potstickers were crispy but not burnt, and paired with a just-right spicy Chinese mustard. There were four per serving, which served to whet out appetites while leaving us waiting for more. Next, we got the spicy rice cakes. These were just hot enough to let the tongue know, but the spice built pleasantly. The plate was pretty big, and the two of us had more than one or two helpings each. Finally, we had the Crying Tiger Tuna. The lightly seared and seasoned tuna was paired with avocado salad, pickled gooseberries, and sweet goji berries. Delicious! To cap it off, we switched up our drinks for two of their signature cocktails. Sweet emotion is a pumpkin espresso martini with a smoky bubble of deliciousness in top. Love in an Elevator is a wild rum ride of flavors I'd never think to blend, such as apricot, chocolate, and lemon. Overall, while pricey, the experience, the food, and the atmosphere made it worth it! As a bonus, we were watched over by a really cool portrait of Bruce Lee!“

“I have been here many, many times over the years, and it has been consistantly good. Even though it's only a take out place, that only accepts cash, I never had any issues whatsoever. I tried other Chinese takeout places around, and by far this is the best place around! The only problem is that you have to wait about 30 minutes,which is due to the popularity of the place. Other than the long wait time, it's worth the wait.“

“items i ordered were slightly better than every other chinese place ive been. general tso chicken had a slight pineapple flavor, hinting a tang-soo-yook (for those korean) profile. veg lo mein tasted exactly how it was supposed to. even the wonton soup had this extra egg/chicken umami to it. added bonus... the mom (i assume owner) and little daughter (just hanging out there) were very welcoming and hospitable to me/wife/my 3 yr-old. perhaps this place deserves 4 - 4.5 since its not like food was anywhere close to Michelin Star level - but i rate as 5 in context of chinese take outs.“

“We have been here a dozen times in six or eight months, and come from a considerable distance. Consistently great food. The soup dumplings are very good. The dumplings and appetizers are fresh and well made. The dry style fish and peppers is truly one of the best dishes I've ever had. The beers on tap are fresh. “The food here is great. Came for a late lunch with my gf. The staff is friendly, and welcoming. They have very fast service. They kept my water glass filled. For the price of takeout you get a nice restaurant experience.
The wonton soup was good, light, not oily, and had tiny bits of pork in the broth.
The scallion pancakes are fried until crispy. They dont have too many scallions inside but are light and have a slight stretch and a good mouth feel. They weren't oily from low heat oil.
The fried wontons were deep fried and the skin had little bubbles in them which gave them a flaky texture as it crackles in your mouth. The inside was still soft and delicious.
The general tso chicken was good too. The chicken was fried til it had a sugar crack almost and had extra sauce on top.
The vegetable fried rice was good. It had eggs, Scallions, sprouts, onions. It didn't need much sauce at all.
The schezuan chicken was good. The meat was nice and silky. The brown sauce wasn't too salty. The vegetables that came with it were steamed nicely and also had a decent amount of sauce.
The white rice was nice, and fluffy.
The bill came with orange slices and fortune cookies“

“My favorite place to get take out from :) They have the best beef teriyaki, crab rangoons, scallion pancakes and lo mein :) Will literally not order Chinese food from anywhere else! They also have the fastest delivery of any restaurant (period) I've ever ordered from!“

“I highly recommend visiting this Chinese restaurant. One of my favorite local spots for their delicious food, great portions of food and prices are affordable. I ordered a happy family which came with white rice, shrimp and broccoli that came with egg roll and pork fried rice and general tso with lo mein.

Parking: Being my first time, parking was limited as I ordered food around 8-8:30 pm. There's plenty of street parking but it's a little tough to find a spot to pull in...

If there is any Setback, it's the Limited Parking as there are only Nine Parking Spaces for Seven Businesses! However, there is Ample Street Parking! “I discovered this Chinese restaurant one day when I was in Port chester doing some shopping and going to the movies. I've been here a number of times now. It's along Westchester Avenue where there is a selection of various cuisines.The food is delicious and it's not greasy. I love the rice, its bright yellow and full of flavor. The chicken used in the sesame and general tso are fried just right and not too hard. I personally don't eat Chinese all the time and when I do I usually stand outdoors while my food cooks because you can smell the heavy grease inside and down the street. But at Panda I'm able to stand inside to wait for my food because it doesn't smell. This is a cash only place so make sure you have plenty. The man behind the counter is nice and he speaks Spanish which is nice for the customers that visit. Its not a place really to stay long and eat because there's 4 tables. I take my food to go. They also do not deliver.

“Hunan Larchmont has been my family’s favorite restaurant since my children were very young. We have celebrated many occasions there throughout the years and love the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. Their food is always fresh and delicious!“

“David Chens has become a mainstay in the area. It's been around for over 30 years and it's some of the best Chinese in the area. Food is great. Service is quick if not a bit curmudgeonly and it has a great ambience. They should clean the fish tanks though!Try the pork and shrimp dumplings!“

“Cool venue, but the food is not 5 stars, except for the Roasted Hen of the Woods and the Wild Mushroom Slippery Noodle (outstanding). For example, the Fried Chicken Dumplings are VERY fried, creating a hard crust that overwhelms whatever little stuffing there is. The Smoked Salmon Fried Rice, was meh, with just enough salmon bits to call the dish "salmon." The braised duck Bao had bits of bone in the meat. It's a cool venue, but based on reviews, I had higher expectations.Four other things need addressing. $0.50 added to each dish and mentioned on the menu, about using that money for "cooks and porters." That should be a management decision and does not have to shared with diners. It's not for the money...it's a distraction to the experience of dining out. The alcoholic drinks are about $12 (way too high) and there are no ice tea refills, so I ended up paying $15 for 3 glasses of ice tea. The service is too fast, clearing dishes the moment you are done and removing dishes of other diners while one diner is still eating. That creates a sense of stress. Finally, there is no signage on the property as to where the restaurant is, so many, wonder about looking for it.“

The lighting was perfect as it was dark enough to feel intimate, but also bright enough to see your food and the person across from you. “Fairfield County Connecticut does Not have any mockmeat chinese takeout menu (the closest is New Asia- Hartford Ct which has similar mockmeat takeout offerings as this & is cheaper) so bonus points for just filling a need. Unlike other restaurants, China Harden-Rye had a whole veg/vegan menu (not just 2 lame tofu offerings like most restaurants offer) The mockmeat dishes such as sesame chikn, general tsaos, orange chikn were those fried flat, round nuggets with sauce which is OK for takeout but I can take nuggets & toss with sauce at home. I'm still searching for proper breaded seitan/tofu fried pieces that are big like non-vegan meals. There's no vegan sweet & sour pork or v- walnut shrimp which west coast vegan takeout has. && The menu says vegetarian but they claim it's vegan. Service was excellent as they accomodated my nut allergy by not putting nuts in kungpao chikn & assuring no nut oils in anything. V-beef & broccoli was delish however didnt taste like the meat-based dish & texture was excellent. Was expensive for takeout quality, we ate at the restaurant on plates & the serving size seemed smallish but food was pleasantly hot & crispy. they put relaxing musac on for our dining pleasure too. “It’s a bit unorthodox, but it’s not a bad place. It is a solid four star Asian cuisine takeout restaurant. Nothing more nothing less. I believe now they offer Thai cuisine, which makes it that much more bizarre. They should put more focus on their rice, which is actually really really good! :-)“

Vegetarian options: I’m autistic, so I always order broccoli and garlic sauce with plain fried rice (and sometimes plain lo mein (can’t speak to other dishes).

This is the ONLY place in Yonkers I trust with broccoli. It’s always crunchy/fresh, and FULL of sauce. And they always give you a big serving <3

They're super quick getting my order ready every time, even though my order is pretty big (for about 5-6 people). This isn't a Michelin star restaurant but the food & service is always on point!“
