“Good sandwiches (especially roast beef, corned beef, Italian Combo, VC club) and delicious potato salad, but I am frustrated because the bread is often very stale. I would say this has happened with 1 out of every 3 sandwiches I have ordered there and it ruins the sandwich. I feel like I'm taking a risk every time I order. I have also had a really hard time ordering by phone as it's extremely difficult to hear the staff on the other end. They are usually pretty fast, but I would really like more consistency. It's too bad. With a little more quality control, it would be an awesome spot to frequent.“

“The company at Lucky Star Bagel are awesome!!! Always so friendly. Orders always ready when ordered ahead. Bagels are delicious and loaded with seeds. And they are hard on the outside as a NY bagel should be. I mean look at this sausage egg and cheese!! Delicious and worth the money! They are not cheap with portions“

“The sandwiches are great. The hoagie bread is always fresh and delicious. The Mimi’s chicken parm with vodka sauce and fresh mozzarella is always a hit. When you place an online order it’s actually ready when you requested it to be. I know that seems like it’s something that always happens but so often with other places it’s either been cooked way in advance and cold or you’re standing around waiting for it well after promised. Leonardo’s always gets it right.“

They have the best food and staff always so attentive and quick to take and make orders, so friendly and they give huge amounts of food with your order and are not even close to skimpy. “I have been consistently coming here for weeks. I have only had the breakfast items and the wings and all of it was excellent. Food is prepared fresh, portions large and the pricing is good! The ardsley diner charges $16 for an omelette!!! I can get an omelette, potatoes, toast, bacon and a coffee for less than $10 here. I never knew this place existed even though I’ve lived in the area my whole life. The other two delis on the road serve tiny portions at high prices and the food is bland. Trust me, go here!“

Michelle was very responsive and called me soon after I emailed about availability, and then we handled all details over email (which I preferred). Day of, the staff was great - we didn’t need to ask for anything as they had everything out and ready when it needed to be. The took the stress out of a very sad day.“

We were greeted by the sweet owner and he walked us through the different pickles, kimchi, etc. and took the time to explain the fermentation process so we could decide. We wish we could have taken a bit of everything but decided to go with the kimchi, full sour pickles, and sweet pickled garlic. I almost finished all the garlic and kimchi in one sitting! They were all delicious and as someone who has eaten dozens of kimchi types/brands, the pickle man’s kimchi is the real deal! Just the right amount of saltiness, sourness, and crunch.
