“Great atmosphere, really nice bartender, and great selections of local brewed beer. I tried the Pink Lemonade I think it was an IPA. Not to sweet, really nice flavor and a bit on the lighter side which I like. Definitely stopping in again.“
“First time for us and we enjoyed it very much. My wife enjoyed the crab cake Benedicts and I the burger. My only complaint was the tomatoes were frozen and the fries sat for a bit and were cold and flacid. Looked like a great selection of Beer and other drinks. We will definely be regulars here. The waiter was great as “
“Awesome beer with a diverse selection. I had the bourbon aged sour which was fantastic. Not to mention Meg behind the bar who was awesome! We came in 5 minutes before close and she was more than happy to serve us and have a conversation. Will definitely come back?“
“Cool place, very modern atmosphere. January was"stout month" so we missed that; I guess they had 4-5 different ones thru the month. They've got 12 taps, 3 dark beers but primarily had IPA & sour's this trip; only one pale ale, no lagersor other ale varieties this time. My favorite was their "Wild Turkey 2009 single barrel bourbon barrel aged 2023 American imperial stout." A nice, thick stout with great flavors. Lots of bourbon with vanilla, chocolate, a touch of coffee & just the right hint of sweetness.“
“A very cute and friendly spot to stop for a beer or two, or a sampler of four for a $13 price. There are so many selections, and so many styles to choose from, and everything I have had was well-made, and quite tasty. The decor is cute, but it's really all about the beer. You can bring food onto the premises, but the space is so small that there is no kitchen. But then again, it's really all about the Beer.“
“Stopped here on a bike ride home and had a Fog Gang #5..Wow. If you're a hazy IPA drinker like me, get this. I will add that it's a huge plus for me when a bar serves their beer nice and cold. Love the outdoor seating arraingment too. Perfect overall setup for a canalside bar.“
“What a super fun friendly brewery. So many locals that just welcomed us in on a busy night here. This was one of a few stops during a much needed girls beer tour. We fell in love with this cozy atmosphere. We got a table in the corner right by the bar and immediately order lots of drinks. I went with a flight: Captain suburbia, cream ale 4.8 5x5 , Vienna larger 5.5 California breakdown , west coast IPA 6.7 Ravenous soul , hazy IPA 6.0 All were delicious but their breakdown was spectacular They have some appetizers available, flat bread pizza, pretzel sticks, veggies and hummus. Really enjoyed our time here“
“Super cool vibe. I was on a work trip and thought it was a ski resort. When I was done, I was looking to wind down, and this spot did not disappoint! Not a single beer on tap was nasty. The bar/beer tenders were all dope. I didn't feel like I was out of town at all. If I get a chance to come back, I am definitely stopping by again.“
“Went to Aurora last week and had the opportunity to seat outside. Beer was delicious! It was nice seeing that they still let you bring pizza (as they don't serve food). This is something that Seven Story used to do. This is such a nice spot, do yourself a favor and get a drink there on a nice day!“
“Came from New Jersey for a 30th Surprise Birthday and The Rail did not disappoint! We were sat outside under the gazebo where food and drinks were served quickly as needed. There was a variety of appetizers including Wings, Fried Green Beans, Pretzel, and Mozz Sticks, which were all EXCELLENT; and a nice selection of yummy Beers to drink them down with. Jersey is tough competition for food and I actually considered ordering some Wings and Beans to take back for the road trip. Friendly Staff, Great Atmosphere, Excellent Food all wrapped up in a place I probably would've just driven by not even knowing ... Who knew?“
“I love what they've done with the outside seating area. Inside has been updated a little also. The IPA beer selection is great. With all the new establishments in the area the parking is a little tight at times. It's hard to see from the parking lot with all the storage silos at iron smoke.“
“Environment: 9.5/10Attached pizza joint: 6.9/10Beer: 5.1/10,we LOVED the Amber Ale, but a few of the others were a bit barn-water-ish. Not too negative, we killed our brews and got more, just not incredible taste for us our first time around. We will be back 100%.Would recommend to anyone looking for a local place that feels good to spend your hard earned money at!“
“Of all the breweries in Fairport, Faircraft Brauhaus is by far my favorite. I tend to like more traditional European beers, I think Faircraft has some of the best in the area. Their Munich Helles and Vienna Lager are outstanding; if I feel like something a little darker the Schwarzbier is also a favorite. My wife loves their Hefeweizen. They offer something for everyone including IPAs and Sours, as well as wine, cider and other beverages. Most of the menu is in the German tradition, one of only a few places in the Finger Lakes region offering authentic German food. I believe their sausages come from Swan Market in Rochester. Most nights there is live music to enjoy a few beers and dinner with.Plenty of space with a nice patio area when the weather allows. I highly recommend a visit when in the Fairport area.“
“Nice pub just off Rt 20 and just outside of Canandaigua. This place looks fairly new. It has a large indoor area and hosts bands on certain days. The bar is huge, with about a dozen or so brews and ciders created on premises. Brews are priced fairly, about 6-7 dollars. I had a cherry stout, which was a bit too sweet for me. Pretty large menu at around $16.00 per meal: salads, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, etc. Did not eat there, so can't comment directly on the food. I would highly recommend checking it out - especially if you have a designated driver so you can sample more beer! Oh, and staff were very pleasant. Lots of outdoor seating in nice weather. Parking lot is a moonscape, however.“
“Stopped in after another event - and were the first people seated on a Saturday. Food we really liked - had the meatball trio and the fish tacos - both were good. If I had one critique, the meatballs were a little 'crumblier' than I like them - but the taste was nice!We split a chicken bacon white pizza ?- and that was wonderful!I also had the cherry bourbon buck beverage - and I could have had a pitcher of that one - I was worried it would be too cherry-forward, but I thought it was balanced nicely. My wife had the hot chocolate and she liked that a lot too.Parking: Parking around three sides of the bldg.“
“Hands down best beer in Fairport. Not only is the beer great, but the variety of beverage choices is endless with new beers coming out frequently. Every so often, I try something new. For example, last month I had their mead (their ginger mead) and it was fantastic. Also, I love the environment. The Fairport location is quaint inside and when weather permits, the outside patio is awesome (fire pits, live music, burgers and dogs, and beer).“
“Nice brewery in the heart of Victor NY. The drink selection is written on the wall, a menu to hold would have been nice. The guy pouring drinks was great. He kept offering samples, but it wasn't clear that flights were sold here. They don't have a session IPA which would have been great. Please pay them a visit. I won't be back but that's me. The music was nice but everyone was in a group talking but the music volume was too high.“
