“I ordered a chocolate cake for my husband’s 30th birthday, and I was thrilled! Most cakes in the NYC area are more frosting and filling than cake, so I was delighted to find a chocolate cake with three thick layers of moist and delicious chocolate cake. The filling and frosting were in perfect balance. Although I had intended to just pick up the cake, I couldn’t resist ordering a few cookies as well. They looked so good and they didn’t disappoint either!
If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely visit this place again. I highly recommend it!“

I embarrass myself because I buy so much. People are happy when in this shop and smile and talk. If you eat one of their grilled cheese sandwiches you will lie in bed dreaming of them. “Stopped in for lunch yesterday. It was a beautiful, cool shady spot on a quaint island porch. The lunch was all home-made and fresh even down to the English muffins. The dessert case had a plethora of delicious freshly baked treats. We sampled a bunch and one was better than the next! Definitely a must visit!“

“The iced hazelnut coffee is the best on Long Island IMHO because it is made from the hazelnut-flavored beans.The iced matcha tea latte tastes antioxidant rich, and I prefer it unsweetened; the honey lavender matcha latte ruined the flavor of the green tea.The food is meh. I come here solely for the outstanding coffee and tea. I look forward to fall when they sell the Pumpkin Pie coffee and when I get a free drink for my Birthday reward.“

“I have always enjoyed this restaurant. They are offering a great deal for a weekend in September in the Hamptons. $45 3 course prix fix. Excellent choices on the menu and every weekend the menu changes. Our food was delicious. Good portion sizes. The Apple Tart Tatin was excellent. And as an added bonus, they gave us a baguette when we left. The restaurant was full. I wish more restaurants would offer great deals like this, especially on the weekends. I hope Armin and Judy continue their weekend prix fix throughout the winter.“

“Worth the hype.
The two chocolate chip cookie was probably the best cookie I’ve ever eaten, it was just out of the oven, gooey, and everything you could want from a cookie. I had the butter/jam baguette as well, and it was phenomenal. The jam was extremely sweet and tasty, reminding me of jam I had while backpacking in Switzerland. The staff were amiable and the atmosphere was welcoming as well. Overall great experience, will definitely be back if in the area!“
