“I am orginally from NJ where Taylor ham is king. The Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich here is the best breakfast sandwich in my bias opinion and the cook makes it to perfection. 4 slices of thick Taylor ham hand sliced and cooked well, 2 fried eggs that are not over cooked and a substatial amount of cheese on a good hard roll. the sandwich itself is heavy and will slow you down but its amazing. I am glad I found this spot its a rare find.“

“I never leave reviews but I felt like I needed to for George’s. We are new to the area and tried them for the first time this morning. I had a “tobo wrap” which I really enjoyed! The contents were wrapped up perfectly snug so nothing fell out. It was moist and super flavorful. The hash browns alone are amazing. The girl working the counter was friendly with a nice greeting. We also got a package of their homemade cookies which were super soft and delightful. I am super pleased and can’t wait to go back.“

“I’ve been coming to this deli here in New Windsor for almost a year and everything changed since the original cashier was let go while visiting family in his country. The food has always been great until today’s sandwich I received for lunch. I had the chicken salad for the first time and it didn’t taste very good. I had a few bites and had to throw the rest of the sandwich in the trash cause the chicken salad was going bad. I’ve worked in deli’s for a number of years and know when a salad is going bad especially when it comes out of a container. I’m well aware there’s a first time for everything and things happen, but this is food we’re talking about. Other than that the and the staff are very nice and friendly. What needs to change is the way orders are being taken. More time needs to be spent making sure orders are correct when someone orders. A few times my order wasn’t done right and it was too late to bring it back especially when the traffic starts to pickup on 207. But today was entirely different which was why I’m writing this review in hopes of things getting better. Never before did I ever have any problems with ordering when the last guy was there. I know and understand it may take people time to get use to doing things, but time is money and money is time, and I can’t afford to lose the time I’m given for lunch of my order isn’t done right.“

“Have stopped in here now and then for years. It's a fairly small deli with not the best parking. It being adjacent to the postoffice can make it not the easiest to get in and out of. This is especially true since the post office closed the other entrance/exit because of the bridge update Made visibility very poor, creating a hazard. So it can be tight getting in and out for parking. But not drastically so.I like the front porch area. It gives it a homey feel. The inside is dated because in reality, it is an older building. The deli itself is more of a no frills deli. They do not have a large assortment of items. They tend to stay on a smaller scale and concentrate more on their prepared food. I have had numerous sandwiches both breakfast and lunch type. I have never had a bad sandwich over many years. But to be fair, some are better than others.I have sat to meet friends and have coffee and a bite at one of the two or three tables they have for their customers. Again, it's a small deli. But the lack of product choices allows for being able to sit and have coffee and a bite to eat. It is a nice trade off compared to busier deli's.All in all it's a nice little deli. From my experience this is not a politically correct type of place. As such people feel welcome no matter what they believe . If you're OK with that, you might like it. If only your opinions matter, maybe not.“
