“This morning I had the best BLT in my life lol. I’ve only been here a couple of times but every time I come my sandwiches are absolutely perfect. The desserts always look so good as well. Super friendly staff and over all such a great place!!!“

“I am orginally from NJ where Taylor ham is king. The Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich here is the best breakfast sandwich in my bias opinion and the cook makes it to perfection. 4 slices of thick Taylor ham hand sliced and cooked well, 2 fried eggs that are not over cooked and a substatial amount of cheese on a good hard roll. the sandwich itself is heavy and will slow you down but its amazing. I am glad I found this spot its a rare find.“

I never need to resort to chemicals to keep it lush because we can work together to actually treat the grass like it naturally needs to be treated. “Have stopped in here now and then for years. It's a fairly small deli with not the best parking. It being adjacent to the postoffice can make it not the easiest to get in and out of. This is especially true since the post office closed the other entrance/exit because of the bridge update Made visibility very poor, creating a hazard. So it can be tight getting in and out for parking. But not drastically so.I like the front porch area. It gives it a homey feel. The inside is dated because in reality, it is an older building. The deli itself is more of a no frills deli. They do not have a large assortment of items. They tend to stay on a smaller scale and concentrate more on their prepared food. I have had numerous sandwiches both breakfast and lunch type. I have never had a bad sandwich over many years. But to be fair, some are better than others.I have sat to meet friends and have coffee and a bite at one of the two or three tables they have for their customers. Again, it's a small deli. But the lack of product choices allows for being able to sit and have coffee and a bite to eat. It is a nice trade off compared to busier deli's.All in all it's a nice little deli. From my experience this is not a politically correct type of place. As such people feel welcome no matter what they believe . If you're OK with that, you might like it. If only your opinions matter, maybe not.“

Since relocating to this area, I have encountered considerable difficulty locating a restaurant that prepares sandwiches in a manner comparable to that of the city. I have been delighted with the food quality and Matson's service since I discovered it. I regret that I cannot award it a higher rating than five stars. I also regret not knowing the owner's name, as he is well-known to everyone, and I frequently neglect to inquire.“
