Marrygold Reviews
We ordered pick up for the first time here. It was delicious! My spouse has an egg allergy & I let them know when we ordered and they made our Pad Thai and Fried Rice with no egg. It was delicious!
The menu has so many yummy vegetarian options. We will definitely be back.
One of the absolute best vegan and vegetarian restaurants on Long Island! I have been trying to go for a long time due to the raving reviews on Facebook and last night was my first chance to try it. Erin the owner was a delight! She constantly checked on us which I appreciated. Next, I want to speak about the food! There was an array of options, which made me want to try everything! Marrygold is one of the best vegetarian and vegan restaurants on Long Island. The owner, Erin, is known for her delightful personality and attentive service. The menu offers a wide variety of yummy vegetarian options, making it hard to decide what to choose. Standout dishes include the shrimp roll, with a texture and taste very similar to real shrimp, and the scallion pancake. The coconut sticky rice with mango pieces and pineapple boba is a must-try for dessert. The Thai Lemon "chicken" and general tso chicken are also popular choices, prepared perfectly and tasting like real meat. The Spicy Basil fried rice and Stir Fried Tofu Mixed Veg are excellent with just the right amount of heat. The prices are very reasonable, with a filling and delicious meal for two costing around $50. Marrygold is able to accommodate different diets, like egg allergies, and is happy to adjust recipes to meet dietary needs. The restaurant is located near the LIRR, making it easy to find parking. It is wheelchair accessible, with a spacious entrance and bathroom. The service is great, with food coming out quick and staff answering all questions. The place is small but cozy and very clean. Marrygold is also a kid-friendly establishment, with staff that are understanding and kind towards children. Overall, a visit to Marrygold is sure to be a wonderful and delicious experience.
