“Atmosphere is nothing short spectacular and that's from a long time Kowloon customer and Polynesian restaurant seeker. Displays are over the top and surrounding you on all sides accompanied by lounge music. I can't believe this place still exists. Please go visit it before it inevitably gets updated and loses it's charm.

The food was great with some unique flourishes we hadn't seen before and relatively inexpensive. Service was friendly and attentive. We'll be back again with friends to show them the vintage gem we found.

If you're heading to the vintage emporium or warehouse you should definitely have a stop here.“

“Our first time visiting Monarca and it was excellent. I chose the cammarones (shrimp with mushrooms and tequila) with the charro. (The charro!!! ?) So good! We ordered the queso which was spicy and very tasty. Margaritas were so good. We all left stuffed and satisfied. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. I loved the decor, the seating and ambiance. I'm surprized to see some of the comments here. People do have to realize a new business doesn't just open and run like clockwork. It takes time for staff to gel and get a system down. Its unrealistic to not expect that a brand new establishment needs time to work out kinks. That's why Im glad we waited to visit until now because we were very pleased and will be back!! We liked the white tailed fish in the combo, melted right in your mouth. The soups were pretty good too (We tried the Tom yum and Hong Kong Wonton Soup) 👍🏽

As always the service was excellent from the bartender Christina, as was her recommendation of the sweet Thai ginger mussels.

I have yet to try something here that I don't like. From the appetizers, to the pizzas, to the blackened chicken alfredo (my wife knew I enjoyed it because it got the closed eye smile that I get when I'm depriving myself of sight to focus on taste )

“I've been getting food from here since 2011-2012, food has ALWAYS been THEE BEST! Oxtail, Jerk chicken, Curry goat, Rasta pasta. Absolutely delicious! I used to pay $14 for a large oxtail with rice and beans. Over time, the medium became the large and the small became the medium. I was upset to see that also the prices skyrocketed. A large is now $30 which is only a medium but prices every where has gone up. I just bought some oxtail and curry goat tonight for dinner and the food is great and it's a decent amount of food for the price, given the times we're in. Everything else is great, the people that work there, the food is amazing, the atmosphere is nice, very cozy.“

Tough to get a table in peak hours . Service could be a little faster. They have good options for meat lovers.
