“Our first time visiting Monarca and it was excellent. I chose the cammarones (shrimp with mushrooms and tequila) with the charro. (The charro!!! ?) So good! We ordered the queso which was spicy and very tasty. Margaritas were so good. We all left stuffed and satisfied. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. I loved the decor, the seating and ambiance. I'm surprized to see some of the comments here. People do have to realize a new business doesn't just open and run like clockwork. It takes time for staff to gel and get a system down. Its unrealistic to not expect that a brand new establishment needs time to work out kinks. That's why Im glad we waited to visit until now because we were very pleased and will be back!! Parking and restrooms were very good. Neighborhood was a little sketchy saw homeless people looking for cans and asking for change in the parking lot. Overall was good and average place.“
