I was told to try the beef tongue tacos. I tried them and they were the best tacos I’ve had in the North Country in a while. Highly recommend.

El Gran Patron 2 is a small restaurant in the mall serving great mexi/cali food, especially if you want something quick. The Quesabirria tacos are super flavorful and juicy, served with a side of rice and the birria juices/sauce to dip them in. The birria tacos, birria burrito, veggie burrito, chicken tacos, chicken nachos, and burrito are all mentioned as delicious. The cali burrito paired with green salsa is highly recommended, and the tres leches are always good. The fries are to die for, and the fruit cups are refreshing, vibrant, and a total must. There is a wide selection of natural flavor sodas. The staff and owner are friendly and provide great service, even giving a birria taco meal after a short wait. Prices are a lil expensive but seem the norm for all mexican food joints. This is the best Mexican food in Watertown, easy off/on interstate 81, and a must-stop spot.
