“I took my daughter to The Ice Cream Factory for the 1st time ever today. I explained her life threatening Peanut allergy to the gentleman working & how we knew our only options were soft serve but needed to make him aware to be extra safe. He went above & beyond in a way that I can’t begin to express not only my gratitude but my overall appreciation & renewed faith in humanity for this simple act of kindness. My daughter has never been able to have hard ice cream out due to the same scoop being used repeatedly in the stores. He offered to wash a new scoop AND open a new container of a Peanut Free (Cotton Candy) flavor. The opportunity for her to be one of the regular kids doesn’t occur in these situations & today it did. Actually, she felt extra special. I don’t think we’ll go anywhere but here in the future & honestly if we’re treated like this, just imagine how great your family will be treated.
