“This is a review of the grocery store, which is attached to the restaurant. I purchased a sushi making kit and needed some fresh ingredients. My local grocery store only had a few basic things but Bento-Ya had everything I needed. They had literally all the hard to find Japanese ingredients, sauces, rice, and seasonings you will ever need to make sushi rolls.“

“We got take away. I was good, sadly most of the rolls seem to have a lot of cream cheese as a base. Not my favorite type of sushi. We did find a few really good rolls without it.Avoid the spring rolls. They tasted...... not fresh.We ordered 7 rolls. All really good.“

“This is a really fabulous sushi spot nestled in Village Gate. They have a nice mix of standard fare and really creative rolls. Our favorites are Sunny Day and Sweet Potato Tempura, though everything we've tried on multiple visits is fantastic and fresh. They also have a really interesting and tasty Seaweed Duo Salad. For the non-sushi eater, don't hesitate to order their ramen. It is wonderfully prepared. Service has also always been friendly and fast. Special requests were accommodated with a smile. Prices are reasonable and the portions are good. If the weather is nice, enjoy dinner on their patio. This is one of our favorite spots in the city. It will not disappoint!“
