50 Best Chicken Restaurants near West Hempstead

“I like going here because there’s never a a line . The staff is very friendly. food seems to be always fresh and hot. The only thing they’re lacking in the Popeyes seasoning. I don’t know what they’re doing, but the chicken has to be seasoned more. It’s very bland.. Popeyes is known for their seasoned chickenand the macaroni and cheese needs to be baked a little bit more. It’s almost like the cheese and shells that you get in the box except a better flavor.“

“Food is amazing…Comfort food at its finest!!“

“buen servicio y atención amable“

“Kyle and mario were very courteous as was everyone else who worked there, but they stood out for going above and beyond. The mac and cheese i first ordered seemed to lack macaroni and was mostly sauce. I half mentioned it and they right away replaced it with another mac and cheese.“

“I’m literally writing this while I’m still sitting here because these guys deserve a shout-out. I’ve been to a bunch of Dave’s Hot Chicken spots, and this is easily the best one.

I was having a nightmare with the app, and Mohammed took the lead helping me figure the whole thing out. He was patient, never rushed me, and made sure everything was taken care of. Ahnaf was very helpful too, and both of them were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience.

The whole staff has been awesome. If you’re trying to decide which Dave’s Hot Chicken to go to, make it the 188th Street location in Queens. I’ll definitely be back.“

“If you want Korean fried chicken that’s not a chain and actually has laid back vibes please come here. Chicken is always ridiculously fresh and overall it’s a great spot for friends

Parking: It’s shared between the other venues in the area. Most of the time it’s full but might be just enough for one car to find parking. Never had to wait long for a spot“

“I have been going to this spot for over 25 years and until tonight n once before have not had a rude server. The young man working the window tonight 5/04/26 needs to be put in the back. He wanted to take my card as I placed my order n when I said how much is it he started adding in his head n when I said go pack n ring the order first he slammed the window. Then instead of telling me they had no wings or verifying my order he just packed it n showed me what he was gonna give me. Never spoke to me to say what he was doing. When he came for the card he still never said how much it was he just slammed the window again. When he was handing me everything I started to tell him look im a long time customer he never let me finish my sentence he just slammed the window again. Still the best chicken in queens... but this guy made me feel like if I come to the window n he is the server then I will just drive off n come back when hes not there. Im complaining becz this is not the first time he served me n it was the same the other time too.“

“The food is the same as any other chick fil a but the staff at this location is what makes it great. Every time I have come with my kids the staff is very patient. On a few occasions they have even given my kids stuff cows ! Thanks for your great customer service.“

“good chicken and beef and pork ribs are delicious !!😉“

“I love NYC chicken over rice but the thought of the street trucks often make me feel sick. So I was thrilled to find a spot in Glen Cove that hits! The staff is so welcoming the minute you enter. Highly recommend if you want that authentic street flavor with clean environment.“

“Krispy Krunchy Chicken delivers exactly what you want when you are craving heavily seasoned, perfectly fried fast food. The chicken has a wonderful signature crunch, and their biscuits are pleasantly soft and warm, making them a great side option. The service counter operates with a clear focus on speed, ensuring you get your meal freshly prepared and piping hot. It is a reliable neighborhood spot to pick up a quick, filling lunch or dinner that satisfies a comfort food craving.“

“I said it before but after my order tonight -I will say it again - The best fried chicken in the neighborhood! My guests were very pleased with tonight’s light fare including the dessert I randomly picked up here. Delicious food at reasonable prices and friendly and courteous staff.“

“Best chicken“

“Pollo Campero consistently delivers bold, Latin-inspired flavors with perfectly cooked chicken. Both the fried and grilled options are juicy, well-seasoned, and full of character. The yuca fries and sweet plantains add a great authentic touch. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and service is quick and efficient. I truly appreciate the consistency, unique flavor profile, and how it stands out from typical chicken spots.“

“They really improved there business! Today I ordered there Chicken over rice and there Non-dairy milk shake! Those are amazing. Loved It! Also the customer service and their behaviour is also so nice...

Definitely would recommed to come!

Thanks .“

“I went to see if they were open cause I couldn’t find them online anymore. This place had become one of my fav spots since moving here and I was sad to see they were closed even though google said they were open. I am not sure if they are closed for good or what but I miss their grilled chicken wrap and grilled chicken bowl. Please come back ?“

“Solid spot for a quick, crispy bite.I’ve visited this Jamaica Ave location a handful of times, and it’s a very reliable spot. The spicy chicken is always juicy with that perfect signature crunch, and the biscuits are usually served hot and fresh. The staff is generally quick to get your food bagged up and ready.“

“The crispy spicy with the elementary spicy is A1. Truffle fries one of the best around and great service“

“Great space, great location, great crew.
Food always hits post Sunday Service. Tenders are moist.
Breading is crispy. Fries are just the right amount of salty.
Only downside is the very loud music. It makes it very hard to heard the cashier and have conversations inside.“

“I order from the location in Levittown New York using UberEats. No issue with UberEats as I got my delivery in 10 minutes. The food here is usually extremely good. Tonight I had an issue as the fries were beyond soggy. It actually didn’t even look like they were cooked. So whoever is the manager needs to see who in the kitchen is having issues on knowing how to fry French Fries. Outside of that chicken was great.“

“The service was great. Lisa took my order thru the drive thru and was clear, considerate and quick. This Popeyes really has become my favorite location to eat at. They always cook the chicken correctly and listen to my requests. 10/10 would recommend“

“I was amazed by the Halal menu. So many choices. The customer service was incredible. I told the evening manager I’m visiting from Miami, he also said he was just Miami on his vacation. The staff is super friendly, but yet very professional. I will be back the next time I’m in New York, because the food was fresh and delicious. MashAllah ☪️“

“Excellent service, very friendly, delicious food. My spot is in Staten Island ny, new Dorp location.“

“Dude this place is off the charts man!!! The food is good the Guys that operate that place are cool as hell and nice, there are many many options to choose from, when you go inside and see the menu, they make everything, literally its beautiful. From fried chicken to banana pudding, who needs a mom to cook for you when you have Big New York right around the corner❤“

“Tried the classic chicken sandwich, a little messy, tasted pretty good and was a decent portion but the price was outrageous. I know being inside any sports arena the prices are steep but it still hurts, especially when quality, portion size and flavor is outside is so much better. Worth a try but be prepared for a shock“
