“I have eaten food from Captree Deli on various occasions through the years. Always very good, fresh food. Yesterday, 8/3/24, I catered a small hero, salads and pickles for a small group of friends. I was very happy with everything! The food was fresh and delicious, they did a beautiful presentation and provided great serving utensils with the order. Made it all that much easier. They are seasoned at this. It was an easy, seamless process. Thank you Captree Deli!!! You get high marks from me!!!“

“Leggios saved my friends life. Craig walsh was riding his electric bike through the trails at Gardner Park. He became disoriented and got lost for 2 days. “I have been getting egg sandwiches from 117 for a couple of years now. We already know that no one makes a better egg sandwich for multiple reasons BUT LET ME TELL YOU. I just got a chicken cutlet sandwich for the first time from them and i feel obligated to let everyone know it was HANDS DOWN THE BEST CHICKEN CUTLET SANDWICH I HAVE EVER ATE IN MY LIFE. This whole time i always got egg sandwiches and today for lunch i went with the cutlet sandwich. “So happy I discovered this place! Right across from the hospital and run by a really wonderful family, super quick and inexpensive too. I work down the block and have gotten breakfast and lunch here every day for the last few weeks and never been disappointed. One of the best bacon/sausage egg and cheeses i’ve had on long island. Chicken cutlets are made fresh and lots of good drink options and snacks as well.“

They put like 5 kinds of meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, oil, vinegar, etc...all on a sesame seed hero. We got two drinks and they even threw in a couple cookies on the house! The people are very friendly, looks family owned, definitely keep it clean, and seem to have a big local following. “The Blue Sky Deli is not called "Chopped Cheese Delicious" but the food and the staff have not changed. I wanted to have one of their Chopped Cheese sandwiches for dinner and it did not disappoint. The sandwich is now $8.00 so it is not as cheap as it was before. Still the sandwich, which is basically a chopped up double cheeseburger with spices on a hero roll that is pressed, is still excellent. It is a great sandwich and really filling. The sandwich really is delicious.“
