“I wanted to be adventurous and try other types of cuisine. I saw the photos and read reviews before I stepped into Euro Deli. Now I have become a frequent customer. I can only imagine how good it feels for local polish people coming here. You see all these authentic items straight from the motherland. A one stop shop for authentic polish items. All kinds of meats are offered. They serve cookies and what pastries they made that day. Over by the entrance is their hot food and take out area. All kinds of fresh in house food is served there and side salads. I love the big dinner. For $12 you get to choose a starch with a gravy, then you pick what main dish you want. You can two proteins with your meal. Say a stuffed chicken cutlet and a kebob, or a beef patty and roast chicken. Plus a delicious salad. I love the carrots. Shredded carrots served in a dressing that is not overpowering and the carrots still have crunch. A beet salad, and more. All for $12 is a great deal this day and age. Plus fresh made soups are offered. So yummy. I wish I could converse in the workers native language especially to tell them how good everything is. The employees can communicate in English. Some not so much but they are patient and friendly. Definitely come for some good eats and a taste of Polish snacks and treats.“

I had a fantastic experience at Deer Park Deli! From the moment I walked in, the **customer service** stood out—the staff was friendly, polite, and professional, making me feel welcome immediately.
A special shout-out to **La Flaca**, Marcela and Monchy who was impressively quick and accurate with my order. The establishment itself is very **well-organized and clean**, which creates a great atmosphere for diners.
As for the food, it was absolutely **delicious**. I highly recommend the **Mofongo**; it is easily one of the most authentic versions I’ve had, staying very true to traditional Puerto Rican flavors. I will definitely be coming back!“

They tell me that they need some time to look at it and tell me to come back in about an hour so now I’m thinking that I’d really like something to eat so I really don’t know what’s around me and I open up perplexity and ask perplexity to find me a place where I can get a nice deli sandwich so the first one that pops up is deli Works I take the ride down 110 turn up Walt Whitman Rd. And there it is on the right hand side nice parking lot I go in. I tell the story and everything and ask for my sausage, egg and cheese with potatoes. They’re very friendly in there. I share the story about Perplexity. The place is a beautiful deli. It looks like they’re really set up to to make a lot of food for the food rushes around here. The sandwich comes to a little over eight dollars with a coffee. How do you beat that and it’s fantastic. Even better they have their coffee absolutely dialed in. I would come here just for a cup of coffee fantastic place.“

“Fresh meats. Special considerations with cold cuts. Especially cheese and thinly sliced meats. When buying cold cuts, there’s nothing worst then having a clump of meat to peel apart. It does take a few minutes to assure the meats are separated and using additional sheets of paper, but this is the difference in keeping or losing a customer. A true Italian Salumeria understands this and takes the pride in what and how their foods are delivered. Thank you.“

For about a year now, I’ve been going to the West Islip library to study (I’m a student at Suffolk County Community College). I live in Deer Park, and the Deer Park library just doesn’t compare—it’s not a great environment. West Islip is quiet, comfortable, and actually lets me focus. On the way there, I’ve passed this deli countless times and never bothered going in.

A couple months ago, I noticed they had burgers on the sign, which made me think they probably had more variety than just typical deli sandwiches. Today, after class, I was craving a bacon, egg, and cheese and decided—on a whim at a red light—to finally stop in instead of going somewhere else.

Right away, I could tell this place was different. They had CALPICO and RAMUNE in multiple flavors, plus a variety of ramen and Asian snacks. That’s not something you usually see in a deli, and it immediately stood out to me.

But what really made this place unforgettable was the service.

It’s run by what seems like an older Korean couple, and they were some of the kindest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met in any food spot. Not the usual rushed, impatient “what do you want?” kind of interaction you sometimes get at delis. They greeted me warmly and made me feel completely comfortable—like I was being welcomed into someone’s home.

When I grabbed a room-temperature drink, they immediately told me they had cold ones, walked me over to the fridge, and helped me pick a flavor. They even took the warm one from my hand to put it back for me. It was such a simple moment, but it showed how much they genuinely care.

For context, I study culinary arts and I’m currently trying to get into the food industry, so I pay attention to service and how businesses are run. This is exactly how it should be done. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in their business.

The food was great too. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese with hot sauce and ketchup, and the hot sauce was different from the usual—in a really good way. It wasn’t just thrown together; it felt like they actually cared about making it right.

I walked in feeling kind of down—it was just one of those Mondays—but I left in a completely different mood. Hours later, I’m still thinking about how kind they were.

I’m not even exaggerating when I say this—I would take a bullet for these people. That’s how genuinely good they were to me. If they were hiring, I would work for them in a heartbeat and stay there as long as the place exists. I truly want nothing but success for them.

The total came out to about $17, but that included two imported drinks, so it makes sense. And honestly, I don’t regret it at all. I’d gladly spend my money here again.

This is officially my new go-to spot every time I go to the library. I’d rather come here than go to Dunkin’, 7-Eleven, or anywhere else.

I love this place. I mean that seriously. Even if I’m not getting a full meal, I’d go out of my way just to grab a drink or a bag of chips to support them.

If you’re anywhere near West Islip, do yourself a favor and check this place out. Businesses like this deserve to succeed.“

“We didn’t have the food long enough to take pictures 😅 but we are so happy we stoped at Salpino’s to try them out. We purchased three sandwiches 2 of “ the classic “ and 1 of “ the supreme “ . We also purchased the Farfalle pasta salad and chicken Caesar pasta salad. The chicken Caesar pasta salad is my new favorite thing in life… I want it every day 😂 We also purchased the prosciutto bread. Everything was amazing. Including the employees. It was an all around great experience and we cannot wait to take the 45 minute drive to go back!“
