“I have eaten food from Captree Deli on various occasions through the years. Always very good, fresh food. Yesterday, 8/3/24, I catered a small hero, salads and pickles for a small group of friends. I was very happy with everything! The food was fresh and delicious, they did a beautiful presentation and provided great serving utensils with the order. Made it all that much easier. They are seasoned at this. It was an easy, seamless process. Thank you Captree Deli!!! You get high marks from me!!!“

She explained how she works very hard keeping it clean along with keeping her kitchen spotless and how that’s a priority.I order a BEC sandwich and then she told me she makes a lot of the food and pastries there. In fact, I could call her if I wanted something made and she would try to accommodate me.I figured why not try a few things. I purchased her homemade Borscht soup, her cheese danish, brownie, ice coffee and a BEC.My review, everything was delicious! She won me over! Definitely will be purchasing those items again and will try some more of her creations. Plus, I love a clean store and how much pride the owner has for her business.“

I work down the block and have gotten breakfast and lunch here every day for the last few weeks and never been disappointed. One of the best bacon/sausage egg and cheeses i’ve had on long island. Chicken cutlets are made fresh and lots of good drink options and snacks as well.“

“I no longer live on Long Island so I'm unable to get food like this upstate, bonus I found queneapa's there as well. I had a medium plate of Spanish rice with beef and potatoes and bought the last bag of queneapa's they had and it was under $15 total, which is a great value in my opinion. “The Blue Sky Deli is not called "Chopped Cheese Delicious" but the food and the staff have not changed. I wanted to have one of their Chopped Cheese sandwiches for dinner and it did not disappoint. The sandwich is now $8.00 so it is not as cheap as it was before. Still the sandwich, which is basically a chopped up double cheeseburger with spices on a hero roll that is pressed, is still excellent. It is a great sandwich and really filling. The sandwich really is delicious.“
