“Great for BECs and coffee/tea. Roast beef is always med-rare to rare which is perfect. Side salads are excellent. Hope this deli never changes a thing, it's our go to for BECs on the weekends. The only bad experience we ever had in dozens of visits is we got ham that was slightly sour and the ends were hard. Someone didn't realize the ham went bad that day I guess but other than that we never have any issues with Neighbors deli.“
“I have been to Fred’s a half dozen times and was pleased with the breakfast sandwiches. And that they include a small coffee or OJ was a plus.Fast and Friendly service.Clean looking facility and a nice variety of things to grab and go in the market.“
“excellent polish store with a lot of different types of Kielbasa to choose from.they also have a hot food counter with a nice assortment of delicious looking Polish & American food.the people working there are very friendly and helpful.Parking: they have a small parking lot in the front and a larger one in the rear of the store“
“This deli keeps bringing me back. Each time I go, I try a new item and I am more and more impressed. The portion sizes are so big and every food is delicious! From salads.. to chicken fingers.. to sandwiches .. to breakfast. They haven't missed yet. Thank you for being my new town favorite!“
“Good food and friendly people. They're pretty quick even when busy too. So glad I found this place. I was tired of the ridiculous long waits and being mistreated at Smith St deli, where staff only seems to be nice to cops, EMS, fire firefighters and construction workers.“
“Aside from the food being amazing these guys went above and beyond for me. My doordash order got lost (no idea what happened) but Luigi’s called me to see if I got my food from DoorDash and when they realized I never got my food they remade my food and delivered the food to me for the inconvenience (which was not even their fault) I will be sure to order here more often and try more food from here because they went above and beyond for me when they technically didn’t have to and again the food is amazing, very much recommend.“
“This hibachi blows a certain local chain out of the water. Amazing food, served by really nice people, out of the most humble kitchen.I had a generous portion of the steak and shrimp combo. Although the shrimp was a bit salty, it was overall really delicious!Easily the best I've had in a while, and all for $12.Give them a try!“
“Always fresh, always good. Come here with the kids during days off-they got both hot plate foods if you're in a rush and hearty Korean soups and stews made to order. Everything is tasty and fresh. The place is clean. This is a deli for day workers so no weekend or dinner hours but worth the trip. Take-out only.“
“Best deli in the area. The food is excellent and everyone who works there is great! Try the homemade empanadas. You can suggest a flavor and Evan might try to make it! The daily food selection is great. My favorites are the chicken enchilada, chicken cordon bleu, the ribs and the meatballs! I'm also a big fan of their chicken burgers!“
“This is under new ownership and decided to try it. It is very clean and the new owners are very nice and friendly. Their breakfast sandwich tasted great and was perfectly cooked and the price was more reasonable than most other delis I have been to by a few dollars. Besides sandwich’s and typical deli salads what makes them stand out is their Korean options. I tried their Korean fried chicken and it was delicious. Definitely recommend trying it if you want something different.“
“This place has a great vibe as well as a great selection of food hot and cold. I went for a beef empanada and a turkey pepper jack cheese and honey mustard sandwich. The empanada was very flavorful and doesn’t need sauce. The sandwich had a great balance the bread was soft and the meat was savory the cheese was a perfect balance and the honey mustard is one of the best I have had in a long time.I highly recommend this spot.“
“So happy we stumbled across this place. Our new go to for sandwiches. We get chicken cutlet, fresh mozz, pickles, hot sauce and pickles on a hero. Generous size sandwich for $10. Love it! Good chicken salad too. I always see people in there getting pizza pies so I'm curious how those are. Family owned. Good greek cookies too. Doesn't look like much from the outside but definitely worth a try!“
“You can never go wrong with a BEC or a sandwich for the beach from Boswells. They’re quick, efficient, affordable and delicious. They’re generous with their product, even when I get my sandwich on a roll, it’s two meals for me easily.“
“My go-to for breakfast bacon egg and cheese on a roll or croissant depending on the day you grab yourself for iced tea they got food hot Deli they make tacos delicious can't go wrong Lindy's Deli❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️?“
“My wife and I made a delivery to Marjam across the street so while waiting to off load we came over for some coffee but when we saw the sandwiches we both decided on the Cuban sandwich. It is absolutely the best Cuban sandwich ever and the black diamond coffee my wife says is the best coffee she's ever had.“
“Best deli on Long Island. Family-owned with that old school Italian feel, sandwiches are delicious (that’s what I usually get) and the owners/ employees are warm, welcoming, and very helpful. Myriad of offerings as well as standard grocery items available. Can’t stress enough how great the food is here. Excuse my face in the photo , I imagine that was the only time I wasn’t smiling in Park Delicatessen“
“Nice place....food was good, coffee was good....clean...and the owner and staff were so nice...I'm thinking they are just starting out, father and son team...big deli, not alot of inventory...not a bad thing ,just saying...I will definitely go back and get a sandwich and salad and such...try it out ...you won't regret it“
“I no longer live on Long Island so I'm unable to get food like this upstate, bonus I found queneapa's there as well. I had a medium plate of Spanish rice with beef and potatoes and bought the last bag of queneapa's they had and it was under $15 total, which is a great value in my opinion. The quality of the food was awesome. I can't wait to try more food there when I'm back visiting again. It was so hard to pick just one or two things to try.“
“This place definitely went through some changes within the last year. What does switching ownership there are some issues but now the original owner is back! With some of the original staff they are definitely back on their game. If you've ordered here from the last year and had a little bit of a let-down and decided to stop I would definitely suggest giving it another chance for sure. They did make one mistake but all's I did was called them and they were willing to make it right immediately.“
“Shaggy was very accommodating to my needs being that I'm disabled, he & his staff are top tier on a customer service level.Definitely exceeded my expectations, he went above and beyond which is much appreciated.Much♥️ to everyone there, continued success to you!!“
“The owner is very nice. They do offer delivery and doordash. The food has a good taste and they have a large variety of food, salad, soups, drinks, and area to eat. Their menu is very colorful, and they have a nice window wrapping food display to open your appetite just by looking at it. You can order fresh tostones known as fried green plantains. You can order online, eat in or take out. It's a busy place but they have enough servers.Parking: You can park next to the laundromat.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“We've (Wantagh Senior Center) been fortunate enough to find this gem of a deli.We order egg sandwiches for our brunches. It's not easy to please 25-30 seniors at one time with an order. But, they've managed to do it. They all arrive hot and delicious. We've also ordered complete turkey dinners for about 25 of our seniors. They were spectacular! Turkey, potatoes, fresh crispy veggies, stuffing and gravy. Everything was hot and so very tasty. Can't wait until our next function so we can again enjoy their wonderful food and service. All of the staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. It's hard to find all this in one shop.“
“This is one of the best businesses in town! The bagels, coffee cake, sandwiches are absolutely fabulous! The service is amazing. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. As a business owner of (Luna Lawn Service, Masonry & Painting), I think that we are so lucky to have this establishment in Merrick to call our own.“
“Mike's is the best around! So homie It's so friendly! I love everyone that works there. They treat you wonderfully. The food is great, the daily hot entrees are fabulous! I can't say enough about Mike's. Even though I drive them crazy when I order a chopped salad everyday lol they take care of me with a smile, and make my salads just the way I love them. They are so friendly, and not just to me to everyone that comes in. It's like cheers... they know everyone by name. Give them a try you won't be disappointed!“
“I have to say growing up in Lindenhurst, you always look for great places. 35Th Street Family Deli is TOPS!!Whenever I am off from work, I get breakfast sandwiches from them and they are always delicious.Recently I ordered food for the first time. Steven was very accommodating and the presentation was on point.Thank you for representing our town so well and I am looking forward to using you again in the future.“
“I've been a customer for more than two years and am in the store three times a week. A true neighborhood spot. Ownership and Staff treat you like family. The food and service are amazing. Whether take out or catering, Foods of Italia is the only choice. Can't wait for my next visit! :)“
“(Translated by Google) A sandwich shop I stopped by after going out for a walk. It was nice to eat a sandwich made with fresh vegetables for the first time in a long time after I always ate only wilted and meager vegetable sandwiches in Manhattan. The owners are friendly and the store is clean.(Original)산책하러 나왔다가 들른 샌드위치 가게. 맨해튼에서 항상 시들고 빈약한 채소 샌드위치만 먹다가 오랜만에 싱싱한 채소로 만든 샌드위치 먹어서 좋았습니다. 사장님들 친절하시고 가게도 깨끗했어요.“
“Let me start by saying, I AM GOING BACK. I called to place an order for Easter. Granted, I was late to the game, but on the phone, I was told they had everything I wanted and that it was NOT necessary for me to pay in advance. When I got there. Boneless ham was not available to me. I was told, "You should have come in to pay for it." WHO KNEW!! Nobody told me that!! I would have ran right over! Good thing is, the bone in ham was already sliced, cut around the bone and easy to serve. Sides were delicious too. You can head right over there in any day for lunch!“
“One of the best Deli’s on Long Island. Large variety of food and salads. Clean building and friendly staff. They even have a brick oven for pizza and calzones. A little expensive but definitely worth it. They even own the restaurant (Franina’s) next door. Great food from both places.“
“A bit overpriced but consistently good food. You can make your own chopped salad, or order yourself a sandwich. Cafe Bella has a couple of small tables in the middle of the floor for those in need of a quick bite on-the-go. There is a credit card minimum of $10 which they are very strict about.“
“Glad I found this little hot spot of a Bodega! Located near Babylon train station. The food is outstanding! A MUST TRY- owners are very friendly, the take out/ eat in restaurant is ALWAYS immaculate! Fresh, hot, delicious made daily! What a find! I believe it’s family owned. Outstanding! ????????“
“Food is decent; my husband loves their breakfast and Philly cheesesteak. I would have given 5 stars, but I ordered breakfast here this weekend. I was accidentally given French fries instead of the French toast. This is not that big of a deal but the man at the counter argued with me that I ordered French fries, instead of offering to fix the $40 order. It was 8:50am and I already had ordered hash browns with my breakfast; I wouldn’t have ordered French fries with that.“
“This is a mandatory stop every time I visit Long Island from Pittsburgh. Personal fav is the Manhattan roast beef sandwich, but I've yet to have anything but a fantastic meal here. Staff are exceptionally friendly, everything on the menu tastes and looks like your favorite grandma made it just for you. If I could, I'd eat here 7 days a week, 365 a year.“
“Great place for breakfast and lunch. Staff is friendly and professional. Awesome hot and cold coffee to go or enjoy there - inside or outside. They make awesome egg sandwiches and have delicious meals to go (including pasta and meatballs, turkey and mashed potatoes and salads). Highly recommend!“
“Waited a 1/2 an hour yesterday to get inside. How far would it get served. This place is the bomb the Polish food.Small deli doesn't look like much but once you're inside. We were standing in line with Someone that was From Poland. She is a special needs teacher at P.S. 034 John Harvard she was teaching in queens village where I grew up. Once inside we had To walk the gauntlet to the back of the store. To place our order. I was asking my Polish new friend what's this in the display? Order up our turn. Smoked Kabisi fresh kobonsa fresh Polish ham, Peroigies potato with cheese, and a dozen Sauercraut with mushrooms dozen each. Moving along Chicken cutlet 2 soup, white and red borscht Crepes 3 cheese add your own jelly My son likes the trader Joe's Raspberry jelly. Or just add blackberries for my garden. I almost forgot got to stuff cabbage with red sauce. The red sauce is missing something kind of meat. But the cabbage with meat, it is the bomb. I wanted to thank my Polish friend for helping us out. I had a nice bottle of wine together but you were gone. So if you're the Polish lady that works in queens village at that school PS34 give me a shout out. you have a bottle of wine coming your way. Overall experience awesome!“
“Recently just found this spot I legit was heading to bjs across the street and smelt an aroma of bacon and eggs cooking looked over and saw this deli I said I gotta try it out glad I did one of the best egg sandwiches I’ve had in a while and for a very good price definitely is my new spot for “
“while the food is good they too often get my orders wrong and since I usually get delivery there's nothing I can do. It's not like I order anything too complicated. Maybe too much fooling around And not enough paying attention to details.“
“My co workers and I used to order from this deli 4-5 times a week. They would constantly send the wrong order. Every time we called to inform them, the person answering the phone would be nasty, insisting we were lying. We’ve spent hundreds there. We stopped ordering from them up until yesterday. We decided to give them another shot. The delivery driver who dropped our order off, once again brought us the wrong order. We contacted them immediately. He than came back to bring us the right order and started harassing everyone. Yelling in front of people, demanding we give him more money ontop of what our order was. Demanded a tip. He was scaring everyone around him. He wouldn’t leave. We then handed him extra money so he would finally leave and he still refused.“
“I found out about Karina's Deli from a friend of a friend who told me that he likes the food there. I live close by so I decided to try it last month. The place is on Maple Ave and close to the Westbury LIRR. When you walk in you see a bunch of different hot foods chilling there looking tasty. I got a large container ($7) and asked for yellow rice, plantains, and pork (I think it's pernil, but I could be wrong - see the pictures). With tax it came out to $7.60. I paid with credit card and left. I got home and started eating. Wow, it was amazing. First off, they packed a dump load of food in the container, which I really appreciated. The pork wasn't ultra soft, but felt apart decently well. It tasted so good and had some sort of crazy glaze to it that was so tasty. The pork is just crazy good; end of story. The rice and plantains were also ultra satisfying too. Nothing much to really describe but it complimented the pork about as well as possible. Hopefully I have consistently great experiences when I go back in the future. For now I think this is 5 star status for sure. My meal was immensely satisfying and the value is unbeatable. Punta Cana on Post Ave has amazing ratings that are well deserved, but I think this place might be better. Guess we'll see based on future visits.“
“Please support your local businesses. I stopped by here for a turkey sub (suggested by the owner) and it tasted fresh!! Everything was portioned correctly and even the packaging had a lot of thought put into it. I can’t wait to order more subs from here!“
“Let me tell you, he makes THE BEST potato salad I've had in years. The place could use a face lift, unfortunately, it might be a little off-putting to some people. But get past it, cause the food is great. I've only gotten lunch so far, but I'm sure he does a good breakfast sandwich as well (I'll try that soon). It's close to my job and I stop there pretty often, and I always enjoy the food I get there.“
