“It's a diner with diner food and service. It was actually very well cooked food and friendly attentive service.
The place is well used but remember it's a diner not mid class Steakhouse or Spaghetti house.
The wait staff was constantly topping off our coffees and sodas. (Personnally, I feel like she worked harder for tip than lots of higher priced places that just throw the food down and run away. ($20 for a $47 food bill) )
We even had a great friendly conversation with the owner.
We will be back.“

“Kostas has always been a great place to eat in Buffalo. Recently visited again with a friend from Georgia who's from here originally and hasn't been back in over 20 years. She loved the food. I knew this was an easy win for lunch. Nothing bad to say about Kostas.“

“By far the freshest tasting Mediterranean food I've had in Western New York. The restaurant is intimate which enabled a very personal feeling while dining there. The prices are reasonable and the quantity of food is overwhelming. They have takeout but I highly recommend dining in.“

“If you’re not ordering from here you’re wrong. I was looking in DoorDash for souvlaki one night to be delivered to work and came upon Mr. Greek. Salad was HUGE for the price and the feta and Greek dressing mixed in with the fresh an crisp greens was everything I needed. Since then I’ve ordered from here twice a week. I’ve done the gyro wrap, chicken souvlaki wrap, and multiple souvlaki salads both beef and chicken. There is nowhere else in the WNY area that does it better. I’ve ordered souvlaki from as many places as you can name in the area. Nothing touches Mr. Greek. A cool little mom and pop shop with only like 2 tables and chairs. Mostly they are a to go order kind of place. Service has always been stellar when I stop in and the atmosphere gives off NYC vibes with all the neon signs. You can’t get a bad meal here I highly recommend checking them out!! Sorry I would’ve taken a picture of tonight’s souvlaki wrap but I inhaled it. So good. My new favorite place!“

“After telling my fiance I wanted to go on a date, he picked Nana's in Alden to take me to. We love mediterranean food and let me tell you we were not disappointed!! This place by far is one of the best restaurants we have ever been to. We live about 30 minutes away and drive here almost once a week now. The staff is incredible, too. You can tell the chef is passionate about his food and loves what he does. The food is always fresh and tastes incredible!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience every time“

The owner is professional, friendly, and always takes the time to have a great conversation with customers. Nothing earns more respect from me than seeing an owner working behind the counter right alongside the staff. That's exactly why I believe people should support small businesses like this. “Good evening! I could not go to bed tonight without acknowledging the fabulous service my two friends and I received at the Acropolis on Main Street. Our server Anthony C was outstanding! All three of us commented that we could not remember a time where we had such an attentive server that was also entertaining and gracious. You are blessed and lucky to have some like him on your team. We do a monthly dinner on Main Street and are already planning on coming back to Acropolis for our September dinner (if we can find out when Anthony C is working!) “Akis is a small restaurant with very good food. The only downside for me is, there's only one person taking the orders most of the time. I've had quite a few meals here. I'll be back to try more of the delicious dishes. The pancake is outstanding! The Greek skillet is very filling. The Greek potatoes are hit and miss, meaning they can range from very delicious to I've had better. My daughter had the salmon and said it was really good!“

“Just got home from an excellent breakfast. I had the Meatlovers Omelet with Home Fries and a Pancake for $13. It was delicious and big. My wife got the Strawberries and Banana Crepes for $15. Everything was perfect. The server was friendly and quick. It was a bit loud due to the group of 5 hens cackling in the corner, but they were having a good time.

“very pricey and small portions..coworker got steak in the grass sandwich and sweet potato fries and with tax and takeout fee it was 24 dollars..souvlaki wrap and fries was 17 dollars..a super basic cold tuna sandwich with fries was 16 dollars..this place used to be great but has went downhill the past few years..they've lost my business“

“Service is fantastic- very quickly seated, drinks grabbed immediately (drip coffee was decent), food is really reasonably priced and was cooked pretty quickly.
I ordered steak & eggs with onions in the homefries & sourdough toast - food was tasty. I ordered eggs over medium, but got over easy, and I ordered the steak medium and it was closer to well done. I’m not mad about it, they were tasty but just not what I ordered lol
clean and really well maintained booths, all the decor was clean (no cobwebs or anything), alternative sugar was actually on the table (usually I have to ask), carpet throughout the restaurant was very clean with no debris seen (idk why that’s shocking to me lol). My server was sweet and attentive, refilling my coffee and checking in without having to prompt.“

“Recently found this place and have been twice now. Both times the staff were friendly and food was delicious! The sauces are amazing and I find the food fresh especially the veggies. Some people might say it’s pricey at about $15 a bowl which yeah it isn’t the best but that’s average pricing I feel like plus the serving sizes are big. The first time I ended up with leftovers for the next day and the second time my mom & I split a rice bowl so worth the price in my opinion.“
