“I ordered Chicken Slovakia in both salad and wrap. My partner loved the wrap and I enjoyed the salad! The Baklava was the best I’ve ever had! The food was ready when I came to pick it up and the person who cashed me out was very nice! I love the remodeled look!“
“I went to this location of Pita Gourmet as part of a group of three. This was our first time going to any Pita Gourmet location, so I can't say whether this location is better or worse than others. The counter service here was friendly and helpful. And there was plenty of seating, though the dining tables already look worn even though this is still a fairly new location. My falafel pita wrap was okay, but the flavor of the falafel wasn't as good as other falafel I'd had. That may be a personal preference though and isn't meant to suggest that there was something wrong with my food. My companions expressed to me that they felt that their orders were okay as well, but not anything they'd go back for. I basically felt the same way. I had baklava for dessert and thought it was decent quality. In terms of value, I felt that the prices here were reasonable for the portions served. If you're on the fence about trying this place out, I'd definitely recommend giving it a chance and experiencing it for yourself. The flavors here might be more up your alley than mine.Vegetarian options: Falafel. Hummus.“
“The food is always delicious good and hot...staff is always friendly and quick n bringing your food to you...Parking: Big Parking lot right n front of the restaurant maybe 100 or more spots...Kid-friendliness: Coloring books for the kiddos and a variety of kids meals on the menuWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair ramp“
“Very cozy place to eat, love the fact you can get any food at any time. Meaning you can get breakfast at dinner or dinner at lunch etc etc. There's usually no wait or a very short wait. The staff is always really kind to us, most places aren't nice to you when you bring a baby in but this place is really nice to us when we bring the baby. I wish I could remember the lady's name, she waited on us the last few times we were there. Absolutely pleasant lady with a smile that is so friendly and warm. She is also very attentive to her tables, always moving moving moving. When I catch her name I'll edit this to give her the credit she deserves for being absolutely wonderful!Vegetarian options: It's not labeled as vegetarian items but if you are vegetarian you'd know you could have itDietary restrictions: Good for people with diabetes, lots of choices and substitutionsParking: Due to it's always busy the parking lot is rather small and hard to get spots and hard to get in and out of spots if you don't back into your parking spot. The spaces and size of the aisles are smaller than normal so it's hard to squeeze outWheelchair accessibility: No steps to enter“
“I don’t have any experience with the inside of the restaurant because I order takeout, but the food here is PHENOMENAL. I have never had better takeout in my life and I’m wholly addicted now and I can’t express it enough. This is I believe my first review ever but I can’t think of a better location to review with 5 stars (more if I could) than this place. Absolutely delicious.“
“I have been searching for a couple decades trying to find Greek food that would compare to a restaurant that was on Elmwood Ave but closed many years ago. My search is over! Greek On The Street is seriously delicious food! The chicken souvlaki wrap is loaded with chicken strips and comes with fresh cut fries. I finished it off with a generous piece of baklava which also did not disappoint. If you are looking for amazingly delicious Greek food, this is the place!“
“Mythos does have a few gluten items...I hope they can expand the gluten free menu.Avoid busy times...as the service tends to lag...Dietary restrictions: Mythos ...hopefully will add some more gluten free items ...If you've got food allergies/restrictions.....I recommend that you visit when it's not busy...So that you can be better accommodated...“
“Best Restaurant in town ?they put some breakfast items back on the lunch dinner menu.Sunday hours are rough, I normally don't eat dinner at 2:30 in the afternoon.5 days a week til 8Would enjoy Mondays, tooYummy Yumminess ?The Staff, 2nd too noneParking: Plenty of room ?“
“This is one of two places my daughter likes to go for special dinners with her dad. Today she chose to have him bring her here for her 7th birthday... what a good choice she made!! After her delicious birthday meal of chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, and bacon a few waitresses from the surrounding sections brought her out a scoop of ice cream with a candle, sang to her, and presented her a little envelope!! The envelope had special birthday drawings on it, and contained lollipops and other special treats!! What amazing women and what an amazing experience!! Thank you for creating such a positive core memory for my little girl ?“
“Nicks place on elmwood has become my #1 place for breakfast. Hands down the best service and staff around. The food is next level when it comes to consistency and presentation nick is on point. I highly recommend if you haven’t already you give the is place a try!“
“I grew up in NYC but have lived in rural PA for most of my adult life. I have not had Greek food this good in forever! We were on the way back from Niagara Falls and decided to stop to eat. We were seated immediately, our server was friendly and observant, the food came out so quickly! I was just amazed, and I wish I lived closer to go more often. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant!!“
“This food was incredible!! You get so much food for what you pay for. I got the small Greek salad and that could easily feed two people as a starter salad or one person (plus potentially leftovers) for dinner. All of the ingredients were so fresh and tasty. The gyro I ordered was also amazing and I even ate it a day old (don't tell the owners - I'm sure they would be disappointed ;) ) because I was in a rush and it was still absolutely incredible. I need to find my way back to town to have this again!!“
“We were rather disappointed to not be able to enjoy the Greek platter due to a lack of one important part of the platter, so ordered other dishes, which were satisfactory, though not what we wanted to celebrate a birthday with. The French onion soup ís delicious!“
“Always a good meal when stopping here of the Airport location. The specials are always great. Last time, I had the meatloaf dinner with some sides and some soup. Always good, servers are always nice, plenty of parking , well.lit, and always clean here. Been coming here for years, day and night, use to be over night pre covid but that has changes. Deserts are always good too.“
“I've been eating at The Plaka for many years, and I have always found the experience warm and friendly. The owners, Sam, Joanne, and Tully have always gone out of their way to make customers feel at home. The waitresses always go out of their way to provide first rate service to their customers. Service is quick, efficient, and the food is always well prepared. There are many times when eating at The Plaka when I feel like I'm at home, enjoying a meal with friends and relatives.“
“My husband and I were driving down Kenmore Ave last night when we noticed a sign outside the restaurant that Fish Fry Fridays are back! It's been forever since we've had one and we have been talking about craving one for awhile now, so it was perfect. This is easily one of my favorite fish fries in the city. The fish is a large haddock filet (12 oz if I remember correctly). I had panko breaded and my husband had battered. There were also some nice broiled options on the menu, like Cajun, lemon pepper and Mediterranean. The sides are unique and make this place stand out. Instead of the typical macaroni salad and coleslaw, you have a choice of 2 from: Greek or chef salad, cup of soup (lentil and avgolemono last night), Greek potatoes, or French fries. I had Greek potatoes and the delicious lentil soup that the chef told us was his mother's recipe from Greece. I decided to write this review because my hubby and I were just talking again about how good it was and how we already want to go back for more. A large delicious piece of crispy fried fish with Greek salad and French fries? Yum!“
“This was the old location of Danny'sThe new owners made some renativitions. There is plenty of parking available, including handicap. Entrance acomeadates the handicapped as well. Upon entering, I was seeted, no waiting, of notation, it wasn't too busy.Service was very good from the time of placing the order to when the food was brought to the table wasn't very long. The menu consisted of a variety of breakfasts, lunch and dinner options , to many to list. They also have a kids menu. It's family oriented, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. In general, the staff was friendly, the service was great, and the food proportions were worth the cost of the meal.I highly would recommend giving this place a visit“
“Hidden Gem....I usually get the salads or stir fry's. Never disappointed! Small facility but great staff, some would say a hole in the wall. But I say it had character and great vibes !!! Not a sit down spot, only issue. Oh and the hours!!“
“Best factor is convenience. The location near Main and Bailey was easy to get to. Parking is also easy. Food was definitely good. Great for pickup! We went in and ordered at the counter, which took a while longer than I would imagine. Atmosphere was a little odd and not a focus apparently. If a factor to you, so be it. But the food was good.“
“Excellent greek food and homemade tzatziki. Personally we come for the souvlakis, gyros and greek potatoes. So delicious! The french onion soup is also very good- with rich broth and tons of cheese. Service is incredible and you really feel like family when you walk through the doors. They are so kind to the kids too. Always having coloring art displayed. Its one of our favorite places to go to. No matter day or night.“
“Great place to eat excellent food quality huge menu. Breakfast lunch & dinner always top Koch! Take out great. Staff always friendly helpful knowledgeable, very clean in & out. Air quality always comfortable. Parking lot maintained plowed salted. Summer patio ??This is one of the restaurants you want as a favorite.“
“I love the falafel pita sandwich they have here. And I recently tried their falafel rice bowl, which was also very tasty. And I like to get the rice pudding on occasion, which is also yummy. I've never had a bad thing here, basically.I had a falafel rice bowl from another restaurant, which was good, but heavy and on the greasy side. The falafel rice bowl from Rachel's is definitely not heavy or greasy at all. It tastes healthy and doesn't make me feel so full that I can't finish it all. Also, it doesn't upset my stomach at all. I'm a little lactose intolerant, but whatever tahini sauce they use on top is super friendly to my stomach, unlike other eateries in the area which use a thicker, richer tahini sauce.“
“I literally love this charming establishment, you'll find the best big breakfast menu with affordable prices. The generous portions and delightful flavors will leave you satisfied, while the warm smiles and welcoming atmosphere created by the employees make you feel right at home. Their genuine warmth and attentive service truly enhance the dining experience. It's a breakfast haven where delicious food, friendly faces, and wallet-friendly prices come together to create an unforgettable morning meal.“
“Jesse our waitress was extremely helpful and competent! From making fresh pots of regular and decaf coffees to suggesting we upgrade salads to romaine lettuce. The desserts came out warm and delicious. She took no notes but got all of our special needs and remembered who had what for a table of 8. The spanicopita was bit greasy but filling was delicious, the Greek potatoes were ordered by all and enjoyed. The beef souvlaki came out medium cooked as ordered. All the food was ready and served together! Definitely we will return.“
“I used to work near the Transit/Wehrle location and eat there nearly every week. It's still very good. I enjoy it more than Rachel's. Their meats and veggies are always fresh. I wish they still made their own pita chips instead of just using bagged Issa chips. Terribly uncomfortable chairs and the music is too loud. Many places go that route so that customers don't stay too long when eating there. Get the chicken souvlaki wrap and Greek fries. You won't be disappointed.“
“I've only ever been to Zoé for breakfast (which are delicious), so I was pleased to also have a delicious lunch. The servings are large and service is fast and friendly. And if you ever drive by thinking you won't get a seat because there's a ton of cars in the lot, give it a try. They have so much space and my wait is usually zero to 5 minutes only, even when the lot is full to the brim.“
“In town from Chicago for a hockey tourney. Stopped in for breakfast. Staff was very friendly. Menu is thorough. Met the owner. Solid down to earth guy. Food was ordered, made quickly, and tasted delicious. Totally recommended if you’re hungry and looking for a classic diner.“
“Went here to eat with a friend for breakfast was more than satisfied with the service and the food. Has that old school diner feel which makes it even better. I will be back with the family and the prices are very reasonable! The only issue we had was that we paid $1 extra for fresh strawberries and they were clearly frozen then thawed. Other than that it’s been a great experience every time we visit“
“First time trying the food. A lot of people mentioned the Greek fries so I had to check it out. They were very good a lot of flavor. The tomatoes work well with the sauce. Would recommend a protein to add to them. The staff are friendly maybe a little slow and unattentive to the register. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait. Still a pleasant and happy experience.Parking: Easy to find parking.“
“Bacon and cheese omelet was very good, only wish they had cheddar cheese. Very clean interior. Timely ordering, receiving, refilling coffee, and take-away of plates. Some prior reviews not so good, but appears to have been corrected. My elderly mother really enjoyed her experience there.“
“This is a modern Greek restaurant with a mixture of popular traditional dishes - Like Gyro's, Souvlaki, and Spanikopita. The parking is tight and gets full quick, so you may need to find parking out on Main street. The restaurant reminds me of a greek "Family Diner" style with their menu options, but the restaurant is updated with a modern ambience. Try not to be seated towards the rear of the restaurant, as the main entrance door is also there. So it's a bit drafty from the cold outside air hitting your legs. This is winter of coarse, so I can't say you would experience the same during the spring and summer months - Which they do have outdoor seating. The food however was fresh and not over cooked like some greek restaurants. I would pick this place over a traditional greek family diner, drafty or not.“
“I ordered an open chicken slovaki and it was great!! The vegetables were fresh, chicken was perfectly cooked and the serving size was huge. It was enough for 2 meals and then some. The special dressing, not the Greek, was so freaking good. This was 2 weeks ago and I’m going back tonight. It was arguably the best Slovaki I’ve ever had.“
“Delicious foo, great service, welcoming atmosphere! that is what my sister and I found today when we needed a late lunch or maybe it was an early supper. Whatever it was, it was delivered to our table within a few minutes and we enjoyed every bite!“
