“I've been coming to the Pizzaria for more than 40 years as child with my Dad. Good sauce, crust and cheese. I recently stopped in to grab a quick pepperoni slice for grandson and extra cheese and soda for myself. Just shy of $15. Love the idea of patronizing neighborhood pizza but maybe they dont realize for a buck more you can buy a Domino's medium pie.“

We both had the j*** chicken tostada which was super delicious. Ingredients were so fresh.. Right amount of spice and ingredients with a nice kick. Got a chance to speak with owner and chef. They were so proud of their restaurant and looking to hear our thoughts on our meal. We told them it was extra special. They are looking to provide fresh quality soul food to the community and I would say they exceeded our expectations. Wishing them success and looking to return on my next visit to Amityville. “Yesterday was the first time I have been to Popei’s. What a great night! From the moment we walked in the owner/chef greeted us. We sat outside in the tent with the great musician. He was very interactive, took requests. People were singing along, It’s was very enjoyable. It was very clear our waitress, Janice was extremely busy but also very thorough careful and caring. It’s obvious she cares about what she is doing and works very hard. Upon my ordering, I mentioned a food allergy Janice double checked that things were OK before she submitted the order. 2 other people came to verify before cooking my meal. The food was SO GOOD! Big portion sizes. Gave my mother dessert to celebrate her birthday. Overall, it was an absolutely fantastic night. We will be back. My only suggestion would be when the musician is taking a break to lower the background music. When he wasn’t singing, the music was still incredibly loud and we had difficulty hearing each other at the table.“

We arrived around 5:45 and it was pretty busy, definitely recommend making a reservation prior just to ensure a seat but we didn’t have to wait!

Started with Esquites- their Mexican street corn

Drinks: I had both mocktails Guava-Coconut Water Refresher and the Floral Breeze(will have picture ) ( currently pregnant but very much looking forward to their margaritas!)

My husband ordered a Moscow mule but received something similar to an old fashioned which was no big deal because he still enjoyed the drink.

“We a party of 3 adults 2 young children go from brooklyn to long island just to go to PFchang. I will say the ride going i wasn't the happiest person however, We walk in greeted and seated quickly. The waiter young man so pleasant so attentive. He had recommendations,filled with great energy,very helpful and you can tell he's genuinely kind. The food was so good those ribs I cant say enough about them! Lets just say I was eating and dancing in my seat . the customers themselves were beautiful people . Its been a long time since I have enjoyed a food location. So thank you, you turned my day from me being upset to me leaving smiling laughing total enjoyment. “We came here on a thurs even around 6pm...Was pretty crowded but got a table in the middle..The sound level is pretty high at 3/4 capacity but somehow you seem to flow with it because of the atmosphere... People enjoying good mex food are more enjoyable to be around for some reason..anyway...lighting as with most place is difficult to read menu but once the order was in,alot of fun...I noticed the food to be very FRESH...I immediately tasted that in the beans on my Mexican special and the Flautas,chimichanga etc were all delicious stuffed and perfectly cooked!..Fajita steak was so nicely marinated and charred but med inside..Perfect!..Wait staff were all very pleasant....I enjoyed my visit and will defin visit during a slow day,maybe lunch for a lil more quiet....“

“Casual eatery. The staff was very kind. The garlic knots were light, airy, fluffy and crispy on the bottom - the best I’ve ever had! The grandma pizza was also phenomenal. We ate it there and it had an amazing cheese pull when hot. The sauce was a great combination of salty, sweet umami. The crust held up very well to the sauce and cheese and had great flavor on its own as well.“
