“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“First time going, I was invited to a birthday gathering. I’m a Puerto Rican woman, The people were great. The DJ was incredible. The Crowd, I love because it was the older crowd.(with younger Group too) I’m a 69 year old woman (don’t look it) loved how everyone was dressed, the restaurant Was very pleasant , the host walked around greeting and talking and asking “Is everything OK?”. MY COMPLAINT IS !!!!
They should have a special on the drinks. I thought it was very very expensive. I did not drink at all because I refuse to pay what they were asking for. The Manager ! should have a special for the ladies between (8pm n 9:30) free or 1/2 The Price !“

Great little hidden gem with delicious food!

“We held a family fun night in their back room this weekend, about 30 people. ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!! Thank you Amy & Jenny for such great bartending & waitressing!! Food was delicious, TVs for those wanting to watch the games, private bathroom, space for little kids to roam around- would definitely book here again!“

“This place is awesome! I came here last night with my cousin and some friends and we had a blast. The bartenders were really sweet and their service was great! “The best Asian Bistro in town! I went for happy hour and the staff was so friendly. I had the soup dumplings and fresh sushi. Service was quick and easy. I highly recommend. The largest party room I’ve ever seen. I asked the manager and he said you can project anything on the screen on the wall. I will book my next event here.“

“Great bar! Love going there. Excellent bartenders and they have fantastic events and parties. And since they bought DiMaggios next door the food has taken a step up from their normally great food and specials. The place looks really nice, too! The people who go there are wonderful... stop in for a drink and food. You will not be disappointed and don't forget your darts.“

“We arrived early for dinner. Service was quick. The food was tasty, and portions were large. I had enough for lunch the next day.
Parking: We were early on a week day in February, so parking was simple. I am sure it can get difficult on weekends and during the summer.“

Jeff had the turkey burger and I had the lobster roll I asked if he wanted to split our meals but he liked his too much lol I had to eat most of the lobster off the top so I could eat it like a sandwich Took the picture after I ate a good portion off the top Mark and his crew are the best! “Came to JP’s on a whim. Had just moved here to a Oceanside from Miami a few days ago. The place was kind of empty but we were pleasantly greeted by Chris who gave us great service and was quite funny. A great bartender for sure, I would come back here just for him. The drinks are very well priced compared to home. Overall a great little local spot. Thank you Chris!“

“I came here about a week ago for the first time with my boyfriend and a few friends just to hang out and catch up. Loved the pool tables and had strong drinks. The bartender, I believe her name was Gianna, was very friendly and provided great service! Overall, it was a great experience and definitely will be coming back. Hope to see her again!“

“They had a nice Happy Hour and the Bartender was nice and helpful. Small friendly bar. I was disappointed I had to download an app to preview the menu so I had to go in. The Happy Hour was reasonable and the empanadas and Tacos were delicious.
Parking: I think it's free street parking. May have to park on a side street.“
