“After being rudely treated at Your Mother’s House, my friends and I impulsively decided to stop by Angry Gnome to finish watching the Knicks game and celebrate our friend’s birthday, and I’m so glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the bouncer and the owner, Harry, were kind, and accommodating.

I had brought a birthday cake with me and asked Harry if it would be okay to bring it out, and not only did he say yes, but he even helped me cut the cake and pass it around to everyone. That level of kindness and hospitality truly stood out and completely turned our night around.

The vibes here were amazing, everyone in the bar was friendly, and the atmosphere felt genuinely welcoming and fun. Thank you to Harry and the staff for making our friend’s birthday fun. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Today I went to The Clubhouse for the first time. It was a beautiful day so I wanted to go to a restaurant where we could dine outdoors. My spouse, son, and I had four out of four wonderful entrees for brunch and amazing service from Jamie. Jamie was very helpful with the menu choices and her service was impeccable. We enjoyed the food, service, and ambience so much. I highly recommend The Clubhouse and a game of mini golf as well. Thanks a million Jamie!!“

“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.

Regarding the food:

Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.

Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.

King Salmon: Quite tender.

Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.

Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.

Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. “Excellent coffee shop on Long Island, come for the caffeine and stay for the community. We stopped by my mom’s favorite coffee shop mid-afternoon, because the family was trying to kill me with caffeine deprivation. The oat milk latte was carefully made and smooth and easy to drink. The interior is great, for a brief moment in time you are anywhere in the World with roll up garage doors, fooseball and a clean setting for evening entertainment. I’ll be back next time I’m visiting!“

This year I decided to give the excellent and highly favored family cooking team a break and had Austin’s Ale House cater our Christmas Dinner. I went with the ham dinner for 10 to feed 7 people🤣. The ordering was done with ease and so was the pick up. The family did a preliminary tasting...... LOVED .IT and whatever we have left after the “taste test” will have to serve as our Christmas Dinner. Since the taste test was so aggressive we may need to supplement what’s left with a few cheese omelets 🤣. We enjoyed it so much there was much talk about it becoming the new family tradition.
