It is a quintessential community institution - where even if you are new to the village, you will be made to feel at home! All are welcomed - there are board games and always sports on multiple TVs- I have been coming to this establishment through several different owners and name changes- but the current owner is the best by far!“

“This is a long overdue review of a holiday party held at The Clubhouse. Brian was extremely responsive and flexible in working out open bar options and a menu of appetizers and for us. We were a group of around 30 women, so we did not have the place to ourselves completely, but Brain let us have the majority of the room, keeping a few tables closest to the door open for other patrons. It was a Sunday evening, after the brunch crowd, so it was fairly quiet aside from our group. We were able to decorate the tables a bit, but the restaurant was also nicely decorated for the holidays. Brian gave us a very reasonable price and the food was excellent! The bartenders were friendly and kind, and overall, it was a wonderful night. This is the second year in a row we have held our event at The Clubhouse. I highly recommend The Clubhouse if you are looking for a fun, casual gathering spot for a group.“

“Tavern 157 is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a cozy ambiance that perfectly balanced charm and sophistication.

Every dish was great. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste was evident. Pair that with their impressive drink selection--especially their sangria--and you have an evening to remember.

The service was top-notch as well. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and made fantastic recommendations. They made us feel like we were the only table in the house, even though the place was buzzing.

Tavern 157 is the perfect spot for a date night, a catch-up with friends, or just indulging in amazing food. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. A true five-star experience!“

“My best friend lives in Queens so she and I come to the Onion Tree every other Friday night. I wish this place was closer to me. I live in Yonkers. The food is superb, seasoned extraordinarily. The chicken is fresh, soft and cut into small bites. I always order chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, or chicken tikka pizza. I have never had food that I enjoyed this much and I have tried all foods all over the world. I never get tired of this place. And the food is served quickly and piping hot. They’re opening a second place in Manhattan. We’re getting closer to Yonkers!! The drinks are awesome too. Barbra and Louis work behind the bar. They’re friendly and great bartenders.“

“This place is so aesthetic and the tea tastes absolutely amazing. Enjoyed this quaint establishment around 11pm. The Zhu Cha was a nice experience but only really worth it for the tea and if you are staying for a long time, which is what it was intended for. The snacks are distinguishable and unfortunately not very suitable for the tea we chose. Not sure it was worth $60+ dollars for tea and $2 snacks.“

The food was delicious, especially the Grilled Pork Belly.It was so flavorful and definitely a must-try!I also tried the Nagasaki Seafood Casserole Soup, and it was amazing! The soup was rich and flavorful, packed with seafood goodness.I highly recommend it if you love seafood.One of the highlights of New Zurang is their karaoke room, which is spacious and a lot of fun. “First time going, I was invited to a birthday gathering. I’m a Puerto Rican woman, The people were great. The DJ was incredible. The Crowd, I love because it was the older crowd.(with younger Group too) I’m a 69 year old woman (don’t look it) loved how everyone was dressed, the restaurant Was very pleasant , the host walked around greeting and talking and asking “Is everything OK?”. MY COMPLAINT IS !!!!
They should have a special on the drinks. I thought it was very very expensive. I did not drink at all because I refuse to pay what they were asking for. The Manager ! should have a special for the ladies between (8pm n 9:30) free or 1/2 The Price !“

“Amazing! First, there was free valet parking which is a necessity in this area. Second, we dined in a room that was quiet enough to carry on a conversation even though the room was crowded. No background music to add to noise was a plus. We have not been to a restaurant this quite in any of the cities we have travelled in YEARS!! The appetizers and dinners were wonderful and compared favorably to a well known restaurant in NYC that we had dined in the previous week. The wait staff was attentive although the kitchen was a little slow. The only minus was that I had arranged for a birthday surprise (not sure what that was but you could request it when you made reservations) and was even reminded by the owner and staff when we arrived that it would forthcoming. It never appeared.

Parking: Valet parking at night is in the LIRR parking lot across from the restaurant. The restaurant will valid your parking receipt.“

Between the two of us we order shrimp and grits, chicken wing(Parmesan and Buffalo), chicken and waffles, lobster Mac and cheese, and fried eggs. “My husband and I love DOX. Not only do we love the atmosphere, the view, the food, and drinks but what we love the most are the staff! I wish I knew everyone's name because I would give them all a shout out. Our server, whom we have followed wherever she goes (that is probably one of the main reasons we frequent DOX now that I am thinking about it), Dana, is super! “Since moving back from Detroit to New York I’ve been to this great bar several times. The atmosphere is great. The bartenders are wonderful including Mel, Dani, Christina, Mark, Vinnie and Mike. The Local Ale House is a great place to meet friends, listen to great music on the jukebox and it is a very clean and classy place to enjoy. I highly recommend this great pub to anybody of any age group. 👍“
