“Music was really good. The DJ was on point. The hookah was horribly made. Ugh. I couldn’t even smoke it. It was too strong, tasted like fumes and could not enjoy. The “hookah girl” came to fix it but ended up the same thing after 1 puff. Drinks are made strong!!“

“Tavern 157 is an absolute gem! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a cozy ambiance that perfectly balanced charm and sophistication.
Every dish was great. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste was evident. Pair that with their impressive drink selection--especially their sangria--and you have an evening to remember.
The service was top-notch as well. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and made fantastic recommendations. They made us feel like we were the only table in the house, even though the place was buzzing.
Tavern 157 is the perfect spot for a date night, a catch-up with friends, or just indulging in amazing food. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. A true five-star experience!“

“This place is so aesthetic and the tea tastes absolutely amazing. Enjoyed this quaint establishment around 11pm. The Zhu Cha was a nice experience but only really worth it for the tea and if you are staying for a long time, which is what it was intended for. The snacks are distinguishable and unfortunately not very suitable for the tea we chose. Not sure it was worth $60+ dollars for tea and $2 snacks.“

The food was delicious, especially the Grilled Pork Belly.It was so flavorful and definitely a must-try!I also tried the Nagasaki Seafood Casserole Soup, and it was amazing! The soup was rich and flavorful, packed with seafood goodness.I highly recommend it if you love seafood.One of the highlights of New Zurang is their karaoke room, which is spacious and a lot of fun. “I visited Forest Hills Station after a delightful first-date lunch, and it immediately made a lasting impression. From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm and welcoming. We chose to sit at the bar, where Drew crafted the most incredible mango margaritas. His friendly conversation and positive energy made the experience even better.
On a return visit a few days ago, Drew had already left for the day, but the service and staff were just as fantastic. Now, this spot has become a cherished part of our dating story. We can’t wait to return for more great moments!“

“First time going, I was invited to a birthday gathering. I’m a Puerto Rican woman, The people were great. The DJ was incredible. The Crowd, I love because it was the older crowd.(with younger Group too) I’m a 69 year old woman (don’t look it) loved how everyone was dressed, the restaurant Was very pleasant , the host walked around greeting and talking and asking “Is everything OK?”. MY COMPLAINT IS !!!!
They should have a special on the drinks. I thought it was very very expensive. I did not drink at all because I refuse to pay what they were asking for. The Manager ! should have a special for the ladies between (8pm n 9:30) free or 1/2 The Price !“

“Amazing! First, there was free valet parking which is a necessity in this area. Second, we dined in a room that was quiet enough to carry on a conversation even though the room was crowded. No background music to add to noise was a plus. We have not been to a restaurant this quite in any of the cities we have travelled in YEARS!! The appetizers and dinners were wonderful and compared favorably to a well known restaurant in NYC that we had dined in the previous week. The wait staff was attentive although the kitchen was a little slow. The only minus was that I had arranged for a birthday surprise (not sure what that was but you could request it when you made reservations) and was even reminded by the owner and staff when we arrived that it would forthcoming. It never appeared.
Parking: Valet parking at night is in the LIRR parking lot across from the restaurant. The restaurant will valid your parking receipt.“

“I had a great experience. My friend and I are from KC and we wanted something authentic and savory. We decided to eat here and were extremely satisfied. Between the two of us we order shrimp and grits, chicken wing(Parmesan and Buffalo), chicken and waffles, lobster Mac and cheese, and fried eggs. Everything was prepared to order and the bottomless mimosa is a great value.“

“My husband and I love DOX. Not only do we love the atmosphere, the view, the food, and drinks but what we love the most are the staff! I wish I knew everyone's name because I would give them all a shout out. Our server, whom we have followed wherever she goes (that is probably one of the main reasons we frequent DOX now that I am thinking about it), Dana, is super! She is attentive and genuinely cares about her customers. She remembers our names, what we like to drink, and what we usually order for food. Dana makes us feel welcome every time we see her, with a smile on her face. Thank you Dana for always making us feel at home at DOX! Great job!“

“The Bar tenders and the owner are always very hospitable and welcoming- even to newcomers. It is a quintessential community institution - where even if you are new to the village, you will be made to feel at home! All are welcomed - there are board games and always sports on multiple TVs- I have been coming to this establishment through several different owners and name changes- but the current owner is the best by far!“

“This place is awesome! I came here last night with my cousin and some friends and we had a blast. The bartenders were really sweet and their service was great! “The best Asian Bistro in town! I went for happy hour and the staff was so friendly. I had the soup dumplings and fresh sushi. Service was quick and easy. I highly recommend. The largest party room I’ve ever seen. I asked the manager and he said you can project anything on the screen on the wall. I will book my next event here.“

“First time here and I can't wait to go back. We sat outdoors and admired the picturesque surroundings. It was pretty busy for lunchtime on a Thursday. My friend ordered the poke salad and I ordered the tuna tacos, which were very delicious and just the right amount. Service was quick and friendly. I was able to get a parking spot in the small lot and my friend parked in the small lot across the street -- someone sitting outside the lot tells you where to park. All in all, I am very impressed with this restaurant. The prices might be on the high side, but you can order the reasonably priced dishes like we did and be extremely satisfied.

“They added this new bartender name Nene. She actually knows real cocktail drinks and makes you feel like you’re home. Wish they had move drink menu and food. But over all Kevin the owner and Nene the bartender are off the a great start! I will be back !“
