“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.
Regarding the food:
Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.
Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.
King Salmon: Quite tender.
Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.
Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.
Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.“

“This place is amazing!!!! I went with my grandmarents for dinner and I orderd the Branzino Francese AND IT WAS DELICIOUS! The garlic linguine went beautifully with the lemon wine sauce and was filling too!
The sevice was fantasic as well, the waitress made sure our table was taken care of very well!
And dont even get me started on the ambiance! this is the perfect spot for a date night, family event, or even if your out with your friends!
All and all it is a very chill and fun place to hang out and get some great food! I reccomend it to all!“

“Rippers is located in a concession area in rockaway beach so it is a fun, Open atmosphere consist of picnic tables outside under a covered area. I find that the food is very good. Burgers chicken fries. I can just have fries .. I think that they are excellent. They used to sale a whole fish that was divine. There are drinks , wine beer. They often play music and have live entertainment.. they typically close in late summer for winter.“

“We were looking for somewhere to grab a bite to eat before going to a lecture at the Merrick Public Library. The photos of the food looked fabulous, so we decided to give Bourbon & Brews a try. We were greeted by Will, who rocks, offering happy hour specials and cocktails in a pint glass. Burgers were great, and the nachos were superior. Definitely will be back!“

“Among my fave spots around. The atmosphere is electric and they play every game! Enjoy their all-day happy hour, when you can receive five shots for $25 to $40 (depending on your poison of choice). “We had Thanksgiving dinner here with my two boys. The service was absolutely outstanding. Our waitress was amazing . The food was beyond what I expected. Well done!!!! The portions were beyond believable and believe it or not the take home portions were just as amazing as they were when first brought out. More than 5 stars. “I met a friend for lunch. I got there early but they seated me. I had a chicken Caesar wrap, which was large pieces of white meat chicken and Caesar salad nicely wrapped in a tortilla. It was accompanied by unremarkable fries.

“Friendly, low key little neighborhood spot. Came here to watch a world cup game and have a Guinness. Not super busy but everyone seemed very nice and accommodating. Great location and near by a lot of other cool spots. Will come back again. Cash only!“
