“I ended up at Rustic Root twice this weekend. Once for lunch with my hubby. Great Caesar (we shared), followed up with delicious burgers and fries…best buns ever! I liked the vibe so much that when a friend wanted to meet up for a nice glass of wine, that became our destination. Super friendly bartender Hailey, pointed us to the perfect glass tonight. We paired it with a yummy flatbread to share. Great vibe, great food, great service!“

First - A shout out to Luis, our server, for the wonderful service! Now to the food, Our Sage House salad was delicious - all fresh and tasty ingredients! For entrees, I thoroughly enjoyed the super tasty and fresh Frutti De Mer, In a delicious red sauce, this was a best ever, chunks of sole filet, mussels, the tenderest Calamari, and clams. Simply delicious, and with a basket of bread to help soak up all that delicious sauce!!! My other half enjoyed the Cacio y Pepi - Super tasty, another great choice! For dessert, Profiteroles - a puff pastry with ice cream in the middle, served with chocolate sauce and fresh berries. Another great choice paired with a cup of hot, black coffee. A great choice for lunch or dinner and Sage also has Sunday brunch.“

“Wow, on Wednesday I passed through South Philly and a girl kindly assisted me. Her name is Silvia. I liked her attention and the way she moved in each area. She cooked me and the sandwich was on point and the potatoes were too. I recommend and I would give her more stars if I could, Silvia is a great girl..“

“Hailey Is one of the hard working person I’ve ever met. From warm greeting working as a host/ bartender/ waitress and buzzing the table / cashier. She is the definition of multitasking on the next level. And on top of that she continues to be motivated with positive attitude and composed. If I am the owner of this BareBurger I would be use Hailey as a model to my future employees. I would like to encourage the owner to hire more staff to serve more customers and potentially make more money. Plus Hailey should get a raise. “Went with door dash and food was amazing. Pork burrito was full of flavor. the regular beef taco was full of flavor too and awesome shell. Even their chips and salsa was tasty lol. Nice to see this place in business.“

“OMG it was my first time & definitely not the last!I had the pulled pork it was awesome, a nice amount of delicious pork and barbecue sauce which was great, it came with two sides i picked the whipped sweet potatoes with candied walnuts,all i have to say is WOW and, i mean WOW!!!the other side was broccoli and cheese the broccoli was done perfect and had the right amount of cheese!we had a yummy dessert that i can't remember the name but it had crushed cookies on the bottom and like a cheese cake &whipped cream 😋 yes!i had to ask for left over containers and i was still full at dinner time!we had lunch at 11:30.So Billy Joe's keep up the great work and thank you!“

“Absolutely excellent dinner location for Thanksgiving. Authentic Revolutionary War Era Inn setting with phenomenal dinner menu for Thanksgiving. 4 of us came here for Thanksgiving- my wife, me and her parents, we all got something different and this place did not disappoint on anything. The chateubriand filet mignon and New Zealand rack of lamb were on point in every way. The side vegetables- the sweet potatoes, the stuffing, the arugula, the green beans, and the carrots were all perfectly cooked to an optimome composition and coloring. The popovers were a nice throwback a little dry but the strawberry butter more than made up for them. The dessert the Belgian chocolate mousse was impeccable. The overall ambiance and atmosphere of this place was very Yankee in a great way, it reminded me of Olde New England Inns and Taverns. Pricing wise it was not the most economical menu but doing Thanksgiving at home with guests wouldn’t have been cheaper. I definitely recommend anyone slightly interested in a place like this come here as they will fully enjoy. We did not reside here but if their hotel accommodations are on par with their dining accommodations, you will get what you pay for and then some.“

“I'm sure you all heard the joke that the only problem with the food at a Jewish deli is three days later you are hungry again. Well, this place is the same. Breakfast was excellent with fresh avocado, maduro plantains, huevos rancheros and other sides and it really was enough for the day. Looking forward to getting back up to Broadway again.“

We ordered the churrasco steak and asked for it medium, and it was well done:(The rice and beans was so good, served with avocado and a really good pepper, cilantro and onion salad...The typico breakfast was good.. not exactly what was pictured.. lol.. but actually I preferred the red beans instead of the black beans.. the pupusa was yummy.
