“WOW! If you are looking for an amazing bakery in the city this is the one!!! The cakes are absolutely amazing and the service was incredible. I was very indecisive on what cakes to pick because everything looked so delicious and they were able to help me pick based on what I described to be some of my favorite flavors. I ended up getting the earl grey cake, carrot cake and the chocolate espresso cake!! I got them for my mom’s birthday and my mom and my whole family loved them!!! It was made of sheets of chewy meringue loaded with crunchy cashew nuts, alternating with thick layers of “melt-in-your mouth” buttercream. Glad it was not too sweet that I was able to enjoy large servings of this delightful dessert. Great with coffee or tea.“

These unique concoctions are a once in a lifetime experience, unless you visit them weekly, which is recommended. You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything! If you like some fluffy, moist, creamy cupcake this is your place… While planning my wedding, I’ve compared a few bakery and non are as good as this one… Thank you for the amazing experience and taste!“

All four were so delicious that it was hard to decide. After a few bites of each, my mom and I definitely loved the almond cake. We ordered a two-tier cake with stunning floral decorations. The cappuccino was a little piece of heaven, the desserts were just a tad sinful, and the whole experience felt like a visit to the Holy Chapel of buttercream and chocolate.

If you find yourself anywhere near Arthur Ave., De Lillo is an essential pilgrimage.
