What really stood out was how thoughtful the venue was in making sure our day felt completely ours. They kept golfers separate with their own outdoor bar and even made sure no one was teeing off nearby when the ceremony began, which gave us peace of mind and allowed us to be fully present in the moment. The food was phenomenal from start to finish—the hors d’oeuvres, cocktail stations, and entrées were all delicious. Guests are still talking about the chateau briand, the stuffed chicken with cheesy tarragon, and those incredible pesto wild mushroom raviolis. Joe is not only a great caterer but a lovely, friendly man who makes sure you are enjoying yourself while the party ran flawlessly. He was flexible with the menu and helped accommodate our vegetarian guests who were very happy as well. He also recommended great bartenders and wait staff who were A++. “Definitely 5-star service. I hired Up in Smoke for a family reunion in my back yard. All my pre-event dealings were with Jeff. He was so easy to work with. Willing to accommodate anything I requested. And since this was my first time using them I had tons of questions along the way. Jeff always got back to me immediately!! The menu had more than enough options to choose from and he even added chicken nuggets and fries since we had a ton of little kids. Worked with me on the pricing. Very fair. We had Alex and Bryan as our grilled and they worked no-stop for the entire time. Cleanup left not a trace. And I had tons of leftovers so plenty of food. Everyone was raving about the food! I highly recommend and would use them again in a heartbeat!! (Jeff also recommended wait staff who are not affiliated with them but have worked together often and they were great, too!) When they could’ve been home enjoying their family and day off, they were cooking up a storm to deliver enough turkey, sides and desserts to feed all of the patients and staff. “Stopped for a quick bite on the way to an appointment. Let’s just say it was the best stop ever! Service was amazing! Food was amazing! Just was going to grab egg sandwich’s! Which by the way come with homemade ice tea, lemonade or oj, come to find out a very nice gentleman had come out from the back and said next time we come we need to try the empanadas! He had just made them and well we can’t say no to an empanada fresh made!!! Well let’s just say they barely made it to the car, had to go back in and let him know how good they were!! “Great Scilian pizza and a chicken roll for lunch today. 7.26.23 Garlic shakers were all crusted up from humidity, that's normal, but what not normal was a request for fresh shaker and was brought pepper instead. Two recommendations first add rice this time of year to help with that clumping. Second show your counter person the difference between pepper and garlic.“
