Sometimes things do change for the better. We decided to try again after noticing that Thyme was still there. An email reservation was acknowledged promptly. When we arrived the atmosphere felt comfortable, not frigid like before. After a pleasant greeting we were seated at the requested table. Sad, it's gone down hill. We went two years ago and it was amazing, we've raved about and and looked forward to return since that visit. I purchased a Groupon, a good reason to return. Drinks took 35 mins, then our order was taken almost 45 mins after being seated - 1.5 hours till soup and a octopus salad...soup was bland, salad was horrible - cold, probably canned octopus, smelled like tuna fish, sent back. One of the great dining experiences in the Hudson Valley. Thyme exceeds the high standards set by the Culinary Institute of America each and every time. The food is scrumptious and the staff is very attentive and professional. I especially recommend the seafood with particular emphasis on the clams and mussels prepared in an incredible sauce. Five-star dining experience in every way. You won't be disappointed!!!!!
