“I never knew how good food tasted until I tried KOB's. From the fpc burger to the pretzel bites. It's nothing I've ever had anywhere else. This place is a hidden gem of Akron for sure. The bartenders are always keeping drinks filled and keeping the vibes positive. Hitting karaoke night is a blast in itself. They have one of the best DJs in the area keeping the night rolling strong! I highly recommend this pub to anyone who wants a great place to go!“

“There is not enough time in the day or text space available on this review to truly capture how I feel about Thai By Nat. What it reduces down to is that Nat has never ONCE disappointed with her food. I have been impressed with every single dish I have had. I have enjoyed many Thai restaurants over the course of my life and typically found that each of them is good at a few things but not others. Nat defies this with her cooking. She draws from her experiences growing up watching family cook and it reads in her dishes. Perfect balance, fresh and flavorful ingredients, care and patience all can be read while eating her food. With Thai by Nat, I have ventured away from my typical Thai go-to dishes that I routinely order at restaurants and experienced more of her food. I have found new favorites and dishes that I now think about regularly. There is absolutely no reason not to try Thai by Nat. Not only are you guaranteed to get some amazing food, you are supporting an amazing person and family.“

“First time here and I cant wait to go back! Before I talk about the food, I have to give a big shout out to our servers Amanda and Anna. They were a lot of fun and very accomadating. Amanda has been there for eight years and Anna is training She was a real trooper with our attempts to razzle her. Now for the food. Almost every month they have lobster fest featuring unique lobster dishes. This morning they had posted one of these dishes being fried lobster tail. I have never heard of lobster being fried and knew I had to have this. It was beyond my expectations, absolutely amazing! I expect a small tail but this was far from small. I can polish off lobster tails but in this case I needed a to go box! They also have the best white french dressing I’ve ever had and I’ve tried many. I ordered lobster bisque to go for Scott. Not only did he say it was the absolte est ever (huge compliment because everything is usually just alright to him which is interpreted as good) he was also taken back by how much lobster was in it. Very comfortable, nice restaurant with fantastic servers and outstanding food…which means the chef is a rock star! The building is deceiving from the outside but I assure you when you get inside you will be wowed!“

“Cool little spot. Chloe is my favorite bartender there she is real cool and sweet. Music is chill for the most part of you're looking for a place to unwind. Has chess and connect four to play. They have $2 fireball Fridays and other specials“

“The bartenders there are amazing. They show you love like a family. Everything is decently priced they also have a pool table & darts along with 2 outdoor patios for people who smoke!

“We came in last Sunday. We had been here a few times and I must say this was one of the best. Our server was very nice and on top of things for us. Lena is think was her name. We could tell they were busy as it seemed there was only 2-3 servers on. Our food was not long on the wait. The manager changed a TV for us so my buddy could watch hockey. We always have had problems with other places never changing TV's for us. He asked us how our day had been and just seemed to really care about us being there. Dan was wonderful and made sure, it seemed that everyone was having a nice time. I will definitely be back soon. Wonderful Irish food.“

“Easy access from 76 West a road we travel 2-3 times per year. We will now plan our trip around eating here! Absolutely amazing food, great presentation and so much of it!! Prices were fantastic, almost like they forgot to raise them for the last 10 years. The quantity was so much we all went home with extra that will easily make lunch tomorrow and maybe even dinner too! This is a hidden gem. The best part was Cheryl our server. She was superb. Happy, excited, full of energy and loud. I say loud because that was a huge benefit. It’s an open atmosphere and it wasn’t noisy at all but she spoke so sharp and clear and I just really liked her. She is also the person that answered the phone when I called 3.5 hours East of her asking if they would be open when we arrived. Her personality really sold me on the phone that this is the place I wanted to take my family to eat dinner before we continued our trip West. 💯❤️ everything ‼️“

“What are Hidden Gem this place is! I recently started coming here because I play cards across the street. For some reason I always thought that this place was just going to be a hole in the wall kind of bar, but I was very much mistaken! The staff is great, the drinks are great, everybody that goes there knows everybody. It's just like cheers! The food, especially the wings, are awesome! “Best Sunday lunch ever! We only had a few hours before our flight back to Pgh and couldn't have picked a better spot: great food (fish filet, fettuccine Alfredo, wedge salad etc) dessert, & drinks. We were greeted by the fabulous Manager Jody who made sure we were comfortable & had a front row seat to the Steelers win. Our server Sara handled the rest, she was patient and spot-on. “It's a college bar. Not much more to say about that.Not to bad on weekdays. Its a nice bar to stop and have a drink after work. And maybe shoot gave a pool. Dont try to play pool though on the weekends when the college kids are in. Because they use it as a table to sit on and put drinks on and spill things on and lay down and take a nap on and puke on.“

“TL;DR: Worth another try after many disappointing visits.

I’ve been coming to this Wing Warehouse location for quite some time. I wouldn’t call myself a regular, but I visit often enough to notice trends in both service and food quality.

I was hesitant to come back based on my experiences so far this year. Like many other reviewers noted, service had become consistently poor—10–20 minutes before anyone acknowledged the table, servers acting annoyed by your presence, and 45 minutes to an hour wait times for even a basic wing order.

That said, I wanted to watch some college rivalry games and eat wings. After reading recent reviews that echoed my past experiences (just to see if things changed), I decided to come anyway since I wasn’t in a rush and knew what I was getting into.

This visit was completely different.

I sat down and was greeted within one minute by Skylar. Drinks came out promptly. Orders were taken efficiently. The wings arrived in a very reasonable amount of time—exactly what should be expected at any restaurant, but very unexpected here based on recent history. It was a genuinely pleasant surprise.

I was so caught off guard that I ended up chatting with Skylar about it. The decline in service hasn’t gone unnoticed by the servers who actually care, and hopefully the owner. I understand that not every server will be great and that finding the right people takes time—but the difference is immediately obvious when you get someone who takes pride in their work.

I could easily list which servers are excellent and which are not, but instead I’ll continue leaving reviews that recognize exceptional service when it happens—and call out when it doesn’t.

So, thank you to Skylar for single-handedly restoring my willingness to remove this restaurant from the naughty list. Without this experience, this review would have gone in a very different direction, and I likely wouldn’t have returned.

To the owner: I know staffing is difficult, but the underperformers are obvious—and so are the standout employees. Consider cutting loose those who consistently hurt the experience and recognizing the ones who genuinely care, whether through bonuses, incentives, or profit sharing if that isn’t already happening. It makes a real difference.

Oh, I almost forgot: Even when the wait time is long between ordering and receiving the food, the food is usually very good. Rarely have I ordered something that I didn't like or that wasn't prepared properly. Wing flavors are always fabulous! I will say... If you're going to order something to-go and you don't live in the immediate area to be able to consume it quickly... it's probably not going to be as good as if you ate it at the restaurant. Tried that with nachos once. It didn't go very well! But never had horrible quality food dining in.“

“Love that you can come in and order/ pay yourself. The food was delicious and prepared quickly. Wasn't super busy when we were there but it's a fun atmosphere, right of the main road. Lots of TV's with various sports on, something for everyone.“
