“Always a good dining experience, however I gave food a 4 because the spice level of your food can be hit or miss. Sometimes you get spice appropriate to what you ordered and sometimes there is no spiciness to be found. Still very tasty even without the heat, but if you like your food spicy it can be disappointing.“

“Im picky about potato salad and theirs is so so good. The meats are all so good it's hard to chose. The cornbread is Grandma approved and she is picky about her cornbread 91 and she loved it. “Last night our family unexpectedly stopped in while a large group (20ish people. The staff was quick to make space for us and our waitress was amazing. She got all of our orders correct and even helped me order safely w food allergies. The chefs also did a wonderful job. “Today’s visit was terrible. Pizza had huge bubbles that were charcoaled and bottom wasn’t baked. Service was not good either. A small place that somehow accommodated a party of 10, 8 of which were loud teens. We were moved to accommodate these guests and they didn’t behave like someone their age should. “I am very critical of where I buy Chinese food. I have to say, Golden Chen was the best I have had in years. Even the reheated leftovers were mouth watering and making me wish I had more.
I don't have any pictures, I enjoyed my food too thoroughly to bother. But I had an egg roll and Chicken with Broccoli.
The egg roll was freshly made, crunchy yet soft on the inside and filled with a delicious variety of vegetables.
The Chicken and Broccoli was juicy and succulent. There was enough chicken for you to have a piece with every bite. The broccoli was perfectly steamed and abundant. There were sliced carrots that soaked up the sauce. Now the sauce 😋!!!! The perfect amount of, what seemed like, extra sauce that coated everything and was so packed with an amazing taste. Can I get this separately? Oh, so freaking good.
Now the last thing.... And this made the meal top notch, was the fried rice. A light brown in color full of peas, onions and small carrot pieces. It wasn't dry like so many other restaurants and had a flavor that was out of this world.
Combining all of these amazing foods.... Fantastic 😍

This wonderful young woman is what every dedicated employee should typify... she actually offered to assist me in opening my butter containers. She even said that she didn't even mind the customers that didn't tip her on occasion.
